I never doubted I'll see my father again.

He's a powerful man, that I admit. Though I deliberately covered my tracks, and I could say I'm good, if not best, at it. He would find me, one way or another. I just helped him confirm where I am by purposely leaving a huge ass bread crumb on my trail.

As much as I hated him for killing my mother, I knew for a fact Kenji was right. I needed my father's help. I wouldn't admit that in his face though.

Alice McKinley was a one hell of an adversary. Even if I'm good with what I do, I was still a no match for her. I might as well just a small fish and she was a shark.

But still, I wouldn't let my only family down. I would save the twins' mother. Even if she hated me.

"Are you okay?" Jun asked quietly beside me.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this mess," I said, instead of answering his query.
