CH.7 Lord Have Mercy On Me

My heart was jumping out of my chest. I looked at his eyes. They were the same bright blue.

ACE: Hello Akila It's nice to see you again.

ME: he..hello, Ace

I started to walk away, but he grabbed my arm. Before I could think my reflexes took his arm and put it behind his back. His friends looked at with angry faces. One of them pulled out a gun and pointed at me.

ACE: but down the gun ronnie.

Mama, I heard the twin yell for me while they were walking my way. "Shit," i said under my breath. I let go of his arm and bent down to hug my boys. How are Mommy's little leaders doing. I picked both of them up. He then looked at his men. They kept on looking at the twins and then back at me and Ace. They did that a couple of times. When I finally looked at Ace, he kept his eyes on the twins.

The boys got dad and ran to see Ace.

even though I didn't want Ace to know about them. I always told the twins that their dad loved them, and I would show them pictures of Ace. So they know who their dad is. After the kids ran to Ace and hugged him on his legs. Ace and his men looked shocked. I took that opportunity to bring the twins and started to walk out. I almost got to the door when I heard Ace yell.

Ace: Don't move.

I turned around and looked at him. He was pissed. I took a deep breath, trying not to cuss in front of bryan and ryan.

Don't yell at me and don't tell me what to do, Ace.

ACE: Are those my kids?.

I didn't answer them.

ACE: I said, "Are those my kids?"

ME: AND I SAID DON'T YELL AT ME OR I WILL PUT YOU ON YOUR ASS LIKE I DID THAT GUY AT THE CLUB.

He just rolled his eyes.

ACE: will you answer my question are they mine.

ME: what do you think. I said that while I walked to take a seat i put the kids are the window and I sat at the end. I looked at ace and pointed to the empty seat in front of us.

He started walking towards us, and sat down looking at our kids. He looked at said

ACE: Why did you leave that morning?.

When he said that I was shocked. But I am going to tell him the truth about everything

ME: I didn't want to wait for you to wake up and tell me to get out, and get hurt so I left.

ACE: Why did you leave the city?.

ME: Because I didn't want you to look for me, because I felt.

ACE: when did you find out you was Pregnant?.

ME: I found out when I was 2 months.

ACE: why didn't you tell me?

I took a deep breath.

ME: I didn't know how you would react and I don't know where you was.

ACE: Was that you at the mall in Bronx when you was Pregnant?.

ME: Yes

ACE: Why didn't you come up to me and tell me?.

I raised my eyebrow

ME: Why didn't you come up to me?. And plus was I supposed to walk up to you and say " Hey ace do you remember when we did the nasty 6 months ago well now i am pregnant with your babies?. I didn't want y'all to tink I was trying to use you are your money.

ACE: well no but still. Anyways what are their names

ME: this one is the oldest his name is brain, and this one is the youngest his name is ryan

ACE: What are their last name?.

winchester i said under my breath.

ACE: what?.

ME: Winchester

ACE: you gave them my last name?.

ME: Well ya they are your kids too.

I looked at the clock. It's 7:00 pm

"Crap im late " I said. I stood up and picked up the twins and started to walk away.

ACE: where are you going?.

ME: I have to go to Bob's house to pack up mine and the twins stuff, because we are going back to bronx tomorrow.

When I said that ace looked mad.

ACE: you just can't take my kids that I didn't even know about away from me.

ME: watch me.

I grabbed the stroller and put the kids in it, and walked out. Ace was yelling my name, but I didn't listen to him. I turned around and Ace and his men was behind me walking fast.

ACE: Akila stop moving.

I turned around and flipped him off, and kept walking. I heard footsteps right behind me. When I turned around I seen one of his men.The one who gave me a weird face at the mall he try to grab my arm. I blocked his hand and I put his ass on the ground with my foot on his throat and my hand on his hand is a position if I or him move I would break his hand.

ME: don't you fucking touch me. I yelled at him. I smiles when I seen the pain in his eyes. I looked up at ace and his other men. They are dumbfounded by what they saw me do.

ACE: let go of ronnie akila.

ME: why should I huh. If you want to talk to me then you can but your men have to stay at least 10 feet back.

ACE: okay fine.

He started walking up towards me. I let go of ronnie. He backed away from me. Ace was right in front of my face.

ME: The next time one of your men try to touch me I will break all their fingers, do you understand, and I don't care if you are the mafia leader. I will not put up with your shit or anybody else either.. You got that?.

ACE: Yes I got that, when did you find out about me being a leader?. And how did you put a 6"5 man on his ass?

ME: Bob told me the day I met you, and My father showed me. So what do you want?.

ACE: why are you leaving tomorrow?. Can't you stay?.

ME: because I was only here for a wedding, and yes I can, bit I don't want to.

ACE: you can't take my kids away from me.

He started getting loud.

ME: you better lower your voice or you will be the one on your ass!.

He just rolled his eyes.

ME: because bronx is where we live, and If I did move back where would we go.. Huh. I don't have money like that.

ACE: you can leave with me at my house.

ME: No I and my kids are not living with you.

ACE: why not?.

ME: You are a Mafia leader what would happen if your house got attacked and me or the kids didn't have enough time to go to a safe room. Then we get taken or killed.

ACE: okay you have a point but you can stay at my house for a couple months while I get a house built for you.

ME: no see this is what I am talking about I don't want you to spend your money.

ACE: just think that I am building a house for my sons but their mother gets to stay there until they are 18.

After he said that he winked at me..

ME: fine, but you have to go with me to bronx to get mine, and the boys stuff.

ACE: you don't have to ge..

I gave him a look. He took a deep breath.

ACE: fine we will go tomorrow, but you will have to stay the night at my house tonight.

ME: deal, but we have to go to Bob's house to get my stuff that I brought.

ACE: deal.

I brought up my pinky to him.

ACE: what are you doing?.

ME: it's called a pinky promise if you don't do it then me and the kids will leave.

Ace looked behind us to see if his men are looking. But their talking to each other. Ace wrapped his pinky around mine and said " promise"..
