Kim Hyejin's tantrums

Few minutes later, Kim Hyejin appeared with the packet of chocolates in her arm, while her mother walked behind her.

"jin'er, be careful!." The older woman warned in alarmed voice. But it was too late, because Kim Hyejin tripped and fell the next moment.

Immediately the child tripped and fell, she started to wail in a loud voice, so her mother, Park Hayoon, who was walking behind her, immediately scooped her up in her arms.

"Aigoo! My Baby! sorry.....sorry...sorry stop crying." Park Hayoon said, trying to console her daughter while patting her back and moving around the sitting room.

"Wah....wah!." kim Hyejin continued to cry.

The older woman abandoned the dishes she just brought to the dinning table, she didn't even bother to place plates well, before rushing over to the mother and child.

The older woman is Park Mun-Hee. She is Kim Hyejin's maternal grandmother, and also Park Hayoon's mother.

"Sit over there so I can take a look at her." Park Mun-Hee pointed at the couch as she directed her daughter to sit over there.

As Park Hayoon sat on the couch with the wailing Hyejin in her arms, Park Mun-Hee squatted over. She took her granddaughter's hands in her hands as she checked for injuries, while pacifying her at the same time.

"Aigoo! who dares to hit my beautiful Jin'er? Jin'er don't worry, Grandma would punish the floor since it hurt you. Stop crying."

Park Mun-Hee saw that her granddaughter's palms were red, so she lowered her head to blow on them, while Park Hayoon wiped her daughters tears as she pacified her.

"Jin'er stop crying, grandma will rub something on your hands so it won't anymore okay?." Park Mun-Hee said to her.

Like the obedient child that she is, Hyejin stopped crying. She sniffed and nodded her head, which shows that she listened to her grandmother.

"Good child!." Park Mun-Hee commented as she caressed her cheeks with a loving smile on her face.

She left and quickly returned with a first-aid box in her hands. She opened the box and brought out a tube ointment.

After applying the ointment on her granddaughter's palms, she asked her in a soft voice.

"Jin'er do you feel better now?."

Hyejin nodded her head quietly. Now, she has totally stopped crying and was very quiet.

"Good girl!." Park Mun-Hee said as she stood to her feet.

"Mother, please bring her chocolate over." Park Hayoon requested while pointing to the direction the chocolate was abandoned.

After returning the first-aid box, Park Mun-Hee picked the packet of chocolate from the floor and brought it over.

She handed the chocolate to Hyejin, and she took it and said softly, "Thank you grandma."

"You are welcome my baby." Park Mun-Hee replied as she gently squeezed the little girl's cheeks, happily.

"Bring her over and give her some food, she must be very hungry." Park Mun-Hee said to her daughter as she led the way.

"Jenny, Mama will bring you to eat. Grandma prepared a special porridge for you, would you like to try some?." Park Hayoon asked the little girl on her laps with a smile on her face.

Hyejin nodded her head in response as she played with the chocolate in her hands.

"Okay, let us go and eat." Park Hayoon said with a smile on her face as she kissed her daughter's cheeks.

Sitting the little child carefully on her own baby dinning chair, Park Hayoon proceeded to dish their food.

"Mum, did Dad inform you of the time he would come back today?." Park Hayoon inquired of her father as she fed her daughter some porridge.

"Why, so that you can escape like you usually do?." Park Mun-Hee asked while giving her the 'I know what you are thinking' look.

Park Hayoon being caught, smiled sheepishly without saying anyting.

"He will be home late today, he is currently in a meeting with some investors. Hopefully, the meeting would go well." Park Mun-Hee replied.

"Mama, I want some chocolates." Kim Hyejin called out to her mother as she waved the packet of chocolate in her view.

"Jenny, you can't have the chocolates this night, leave it till tomorrow." Park Hayoon said to her daughter kindly as she sent a spoonful of porridge to her mouth.

"No! I want to eat the chocolates now!." Kim Hyejin insisted with a frown on her face and puffed up cheeks, which happened due to the food in her mouth, thereby causing a mess on her face.

Park Hayoon quickly wiped her mouth with a table napkin while reminding her in a strict tone.

"Jenny, how many times has mother warned you not to talk while eating, especially when there is food in your mouth? Look at the mess you have created."

Kim Hyejin obediently swallowed the food in her mouth as quickly as possible before she continued with her tantrum.

She wanted to have some of the chocolates this night, but her mother and grandmother refused. She even pushed away the spoonful of food her mother tried to send to her, in the process creating a big mess in the dinning area.

"Kim Hyejin!." Park Hayoon called out in a loud voice and in anger as she slapped the table with her hands.

Obviously, she was angry with her daughter's behavior.

Kim Hyejin fidgeted when she heard her mother shout at her. She glanced at her mother, and then at her grandmother who was staring at her mother in shock.

Seeing that nobody was paying attention to her, she started to wail in a loud voice.

"Why are you crying, did anybody hit you?!." Park Hayoon asked angrily.

"How dare you raise your voice on a small child. She is not even up to three years, don't you know she is still a baby? What kind of a mother are you?!." Park Mun-Hee asked angrily as she slapped her daughter at her back.

"Ah! Mum, how can you scold me in her presence, don't you want her to respect me anymore?!." Park Hayoon asked her mother angrily as she pointed at her daughter who was still wailing and watching them.

"You deserve it!." Park Mun-Hee replied as she went to squat beside her granddaughter.

She wiped her tears as she consoled her. Next, she carried her up from her chair and walked away, leaving her daughter.

"Ma! don't give her any chocolates tonight, it's not good for her health!." Park Hayoon reminded her mother in a loud voice.

"What kind of stubborn daughter did I give birth to?." She asked herself as she sat down to eat her food.

After eating, she cleared the plates and cleaned the dinning area.
