Chapter 65 Time is running out

Thanos's pupils shrunk back as he roared with rage. He easily tore apart the bindings except for Arthur who was solely holding him down. He grabbed Arthur and punched him with the power stone.

Swoosh, boom*

Arthur felt the planet crushing on him as he sput out blood from his mouth. He felt his insides were ravaged by the destructive energy of the stone. Moreover, this energy was obstructing his healing power to an extreme degree. Thus, Arthur used his muscles to stop the bleeding while getting up from the ground.

Drip*

The blood was dripping from his head and body, dying his armor with scarlet. Even so, he didn't falter because he saw Tony who was desperately trying to block the enraged titan.

He shook his head and dashed toward Thanos with his light speed. He appeared next to him and kicked him to the rubble while pulling Tony out from the ground.

" You good?"

Arthur said, gasping breathe. He was exhausted and he knew he couldn't use his other forms due to his injuries. Tony coughed with a tired expression.

" Broke 3 ribs and my armor is crumbling down. Perhaps, you were right about the energy source."

Tony smiled, showing his weakened look. He looked around and saw others were laying either unconscious or unable to move except for him and Arthur who was using their armors to protect their body.

" It seems we are in a bad condition. Are you able to teleport us away?"

Tony asked while charging up his canons. He knew Arthur had kicked Thanos so hard that he was probably using the stone to heal himself now.

" Nope, he blocked our exit. It is us or him."

Arthur squeezed out a smile to calm down the atmosphere. He understood they had lost because Peter screwed up their entire plan. Furthermore, Thanos had infinite stamina, so he could deal with them whenever he wanted.

" I see. Then, two of us should destroy one of his stones. This is the least we can do."

Tony said, bracing himself to face the mad titan. Arthur patted his shoulder with a gentle look on his face.

" Like old times."

He spoke while looking at the red energy torrent. He saw Thanos who was coming out with an unscathed body. He was looking at them with respect.

" Indeed, you two were the biggest obstacle to my goal."

Thanos smirked with delighted. He was having fun with them since he hadn't felt like this for a long time. His blood was boiling with the excitement from the battle.

Bang*

He kicked the ground to boost his speed as he appeared next to Arthur. Arthur raised his hand to block his leg and grab his ankle, but Thanos changed his posture with the space stone. Tony didn't sit idly as he flew over him and fired his beam.

Thanos snorted, dodging to his left side. He tried to attack Tony, but Arthur didn't give him a chance to do so. He slashed down his light sword and used his supernova punch.

An unimaginable amount of stars exploded near Thanos. However, Thanos used his reality stone to cancel it.

" Got you!"

Arthur said, creating a gravity field for both of them in. His wounds were getting worse, but he cleverly used the cool-down time to his advantage.

" You underestimate me."

Thanos said, deactivating his field, but this was Arthur aiming for victory. He gritted his teeth and created a miniature black hole to rip off Thanos's arms. Unfortunately, Thanos had already destroyed this with the cost of three of his fingers.

Tony didn't give up as he bashed him from the orbit. He used his jet thruster to boos this momentum.

Boom*

A giant crater was made in the ground while the three of them were fighting. Other heroes couldn't join in their fight because it was too fierce.

Bang*

Finally, the duo couldn't hold off anymore as their armor were almost shattered. There were blood, wounds, and clothes around their body.

" You have lost. Although I have to admit you could have defeated me if I didn't have the stones."

Thanos said, looking at them with approval. He raised his hand to finish the job once and for all.
