" We have proven it is feasible. Don't worry, old man Einstein would kill me if I failed this test."
Scott said, pushing the button with nerve wreck. He could feel his presence shrinking as he momentarily saw the barrier of time and space through his helmet. He could feel the familiar energy resonating with his gauge and it was calling him. However, Scott wasn't tempted to do that since he had his mission.

He turned back to his original size and threw the helmet off his head with anxiety. He was almost lost in the realm once again, but this time he was close to the time and space vortex. If he crossed that section he would have been stranded in the time or place he didn't know in the first place.
Bruce quickly ran to his while patting his back with his hands. He knew Scott was feeling nauseous from the usage of the device because there was no way set to coordinate with their current technology.
" Did you see it?"
Bruce asked, handing him a bottle of water. Scott gulped the water as he was in the desert, showing his terror to Bruce.
" Yeah, but it is too dangerous without the perfect formula. I could have stranded into the vortex."
He spoke while recalling the blue and green aura that was ready to devour his existence. He understood why Arthur and Strange had hated talking about time-related powers. Time was too powerful a thing that could potentially ruin anyone.
" If only we had a correct formula, this should be a piece of cake for the scientists of Eden, but as you can see we are in a deep dilemma of this problem and the world itself thanks to imbecile leaders around the world. Rather I say the supervillains around the world."
Bruce sighed with stress due to the recent workload of the city. He had to work until late at night without rest.

Suddenly, the gate of the laboratory was opened and Steve came in with the familiar figure. Scott opened his mouth while pointing at the man with puzzlement because he thought he would never help them.
Tony grabbed the chair and leaned on it when he saw them. He knew they were amazed by the fact that he chose to come here after 5 years of absence.
" Long time no see, Bruce. I had a report about your research. Man, you have disappointed me. Look at this pitiful progress even with the greatest minds of the world."
Tony said with sarcasm because he regarded Bruce as one of the few capable people who could probably rival his and Arthur's intelligence on this planet, but to his surprise, Bruce wasn't able to find the solution after 5 years.
Steve narrowed his eyes with displeasure, but he could feel Tony meant no harm in his words, so he let go of him. On the other Scott wanted to refute him, but Bruce stopped him by gesturing him to be silent. Bruce could tell Tony was acting like usual.
" Well, I don't believe you can solve this either Tony. You are a mechanic and electronic engineer, right?"
Bruce said with a smug look on his face because quantum physics was his field. He had researched plenty of materials with Arthur, so he was very well-versed in the quantum field.
Tony didn't back down as he threw the disk to Bruce with his iconic grin.
" I solved your problem yesterday because I mastered your so-called quantum field in just one day. Are you happy now?"
Tony laughed, observing the shocked faces of Scott and Bruce who were looking at the file with dazed looks. They couldn't believe Tony was able to conjure the problem that was plaguing them for 5 years in a day.
" Motherfuck..."
Bruce almost blurted out a curse from his mouth despite his ethics. He never imagined Tony would be their messiah for their problem. No, it was like the most painful slap in his face after witnessing Arthur's creation of Eden which he thought would be impossible to build in a few years.
However, he had to admit that Tony was able to create something that he didn't manage to and it wasn't just a simple Innovation. It was an era-changing time machine.
