Chapter 9 Shy Guy

Johnheart's face lost its color as he turned pale. He immediately opened the control room door and shouted with anger.

" You saw the photo."

He gestured for others to get into the room except for the guard who saw the photo. He deliberately left him behind because soon a terrible monster will hunt him and if they are caught in his battle, and somehow managed to see his face, they would be his prey too. Therefore, Johnheart resolutely refused him to go with them even though he was his guard.

The guard gulped when he heard words. He understood what was happening to him and what would come to him soon. There was no way to escape, so he decided to run in the direction where he could isolate the entity that was coming to him.

Tack*

He turned around and ran in the direction of 106 which he confronted before. He thought it was a heroic sacrifice if he could bring one of them down prior to his death. His fate was already sealed, so why not?!

Johnheart quickly shut the door while ducking down to the table. He motioned his men to block to cameras and close their eyes.

Roar*

The inhuman voice of a monster could be heard in the halls as the destruction of the facility unfolded in their minds. A huge figure of a monster ripped through the walls to catch the culprit who saw his hideous face.

Arthur could hear its rage and anguish in its tone while trying to protect his eyes. Although he was superhuman, he couldn't possibly beat this monster because this monster grows stronger and stronger without any restrictions. Thus, Arthur regarded it as one of the worst monsters that exist in this world that could bring apocalypse by its sheer force.

The soldier stood before the dark halls while waiting for the anomaly that was lurking in the shadows. The old man walked out from the darkness and he grinned with his black teeth, but to his surprise, he found the soldier was looking at him with mockery. It couldn't process what was happening to him, but he was enraged to see this human's face.

He grabbed the outrageous human's head and tried to twist it before he heard something. A terrifying warcry that ignited his sadistic heart.

Crack*

He broke the man's neck while waiting for the owner of the voice to show up.

Bang*

Finally, he saw his prey. A tall monster that resembled human outside, but it didn't have any face except for its hollow big mouth. The old man grinned with interest as he hid in his dimension.

096 gave out a cry as it looked around to find the old man. However, he couldn't find his silhouette, so he yelled with frustration, not knowing what to do now. Fortunately, the old man didn't leave him yet.

Two pale hands grew out from the floor as they dragged him down to the hole. Shy Guy roared with fury as he tried to pull himself out, but the acid kept burning him. Despite his burning flesh, his innards were burning with rage that endlessly tortured his mind and heart. He couldn't think of anything besides the killing.

Drip*

The old man's smile turned into a frown as he didn't understand why this monster wasn't dying. He had fought an immortal creature before, he wasn't like this monster because he could tell this monster was getting stronger and stronger with each passing second. So he decided to end this tasteless fight by killing him in his dimension.

He pulled the monster into his dark world as it desperately looked around to find him. He could hear its rage and anguish in his voice, but he didn't care.

Boom*

The walls cracked as the monster fell lifelessly, but he would get up once again, becoming even stronger than before. The old man felt pain for the first time in spite of his immortality. He saw this monster was recklessly destroying his world without any care. So, he killed him again and again until nothing but bones were left on the ground. Even so, he could see the tissue and meat growing out from the bones as he got up once again.
