Chapter 27 Overwhelming power

" Shit! I never knew they would follow me with Wonder Woman and Future Knight."

Killer Moth rubbed his forehead with stress. He knew Diana was powerful as Superman and he didn't know much about Future Knight who was regarded as the strongest human on the planet. His power level was similar to Flash in his thought, but he also knew he was both strong and fast. Moreover, he heard he was a martial arts master which meant his close combat coupled with his technology made him a formidable foe. Besides, he also had superpowers that allowed him to go toe to toe with aliens.

" Go out and distract him before he knows our plan. I can't allow any problem."

A man with military clothes said coldly while sipping his wine. The big scar on his face showed how dangerous this man was and his eyes expressed the wisdom that had gone through for years.

" But he will capture me and put me in jail. I don't want to go back there."

Killer Moth retorted back with a logical assumption. His words were indeed true as he was nowhere strong to be able to face two of the strongest members of JLA alone.

" Doesn't matter, I will find a way to free you like others. You know I have a few connections, right?"

The man said lightly, sending him a lump sum through wiring. The sound of bank pleasantly came to his ears as he got up from his seat. There was no hesitation in his expression because he got what he wanted and he got his words. Thus, there was no need to be afraid of them.

In the corridors

Arthur was observing their fights with his nanobots. It wasn't that difficult with his technology that surpassed current-era technology. If he didn't have access to his power, his technology was enough to deal with these low-level villains. Although a few of them might be difficult for these children, overall they should be able to get through them since they had superior power, but the experience was still lacking.

" Come out."

Arthur sighed, looking at the corner with a calm gaze. Diana also looked at the corner with a cold look, believing there was someone here to obstruct them for some reason and that reason was the key for all.

" Well, I knew you would spot me quickly."

Killer Moth walked out from the corner, showing his face to the duo who were looking at him. Arthur just sight once again, extending his hand to grab something from the air as his sword appeared in his hand.

" You have bad luck. I am in a hurry, so I guess I have to capture you and bring the kids back."

He spoke gently, walking towards him like he was having a picnic. Killer Moth was offended by his words, but the truth was as he said. There was no need to waste time if he get the item and the thief.

" I won't bow down that easily."

Killer Moth said lightly, pulling out the gun that he stole. However, for some reason his body was unable to move like it was frozen solid. He groaned as he knelt on the floor, realizing the ground was pulling him down, no the gravity was so strong that he couldn't move a finger.

" Do you know that I have a power called star power which allowed me to use powers beyond human scope? Controlling four basic forces of the universe is like breathing to me now. If I want to kill you, I can just press you hard enough to make you like ketchup. However, I am not like you. I care about human lives and I spare those who deserve it."

He said calmly, standing before him. Arthur took the gun from his hand while knocking him out with a punch. He threw the villain to his space zone, walking out like it was nothing to him.

Diana signed once again, believing even Clark would have a hard time against him since his growth reached a level where he stood without any equal like God kings or Primordial lords.

" Just take it easy later."

She whispered, following from his behind.
