Crack*
The table was cracked when Hercules hit the table. The rest of the servants, heroes, and others looked in his direction with different gazes.
" This is a declaration of war against our people. Not only they take our time, they sealed one of us and threatened innocent people."
He spoke coldly while looking at guardians. The Greek servants agreed with him, showing strong hostility against villains who attacked them. They thought they were poking their nest with a shabby stick.
" No matter, how we thought it is strange. They lured us to war despite being outpowered and outnumbered. They don't have the resources and manpower to defeat our entire army."
Valkyrie spoke lightly, observing Thor and Loki who were sitting next to her. Hela seemed to be indifferent as she was looking at Arthur for a decision.
" This isn't a simple matter of war. This would create a planetary level destruction due to both sides being too powerful. Do you believe world leaders watch us obediently while folding their arms? They might even use nuclear weapons on us."
James Braddock showed his concern, saying that this was a suicide. Round Table agreed with him and so did others who hailed from the UK.
" Silence! We need to keep the order. They must have plans for each of us since we are the apex of this world. Moreover, we don't know about their goals and plans. We can't just blindly retreat or attack them in their turf."
Charlemagne opened his mouth, looking at the guardians.
" Indeed, he is right. Not only there are mages, inhumans, mutants, and villains in their ranks, but we assume they also had connections with other worlds and Dark races."
Strange threw the bomb to lower-ranking guardians. They murmured to each other, not knowing what to do.
" If we think right, they must be uniting other villains and people who oppose our policies."
Tony rubbed his chin with a wondering look. The other heroes nodded at his words as they fell into eerie silence. Things were getting out of hand as they talked and they realized numbers aren't that important.
" Then what are we waiting for? Shouldn't we strike first before they gather up?"
Wolverine asked lightly, thinking it would be a good idea to strike them now. However, not everyone agreed with him. Indeed it was a good chance to strike against them now, but they must have planned out this since heroes had the upper hand.
" It is too risky. We can't proceed blindly to enemy lines. They don't just have villains or our enemies, they have politicians and other people who desire our wealth."
Medusa spoke gently, believing it was too hasty. The inhumans agreed with her as the mutants groaned.
" We will divide and conquer the fronts while creating more portals. I believe our new friends will help us in our need."
Arthur nailed the final decision as he looked at new members. The new members of the guardians nodded as they promised they would enter this battle.
" Father, isn't too risky? We can't guarantee individual safety."
Kyle spoke with a worried look, knowing villains would try to kill them. Heroes might show mercy, but villains often kill if they need to do so.
" Time is our enemy. The more we lose time, the more people we lose. Look at the map. They are attacking major cities globally and taking hold of major points. Most of the attacked countries are requesting our assistance and we cannot refuse them."
Arthur said calmly while showing huge red circles. The guardians looked at burning buildings and people who were desperately trying to run as Eden's mechanic army was marching in real-time. Even so, mages and villains were destroying mechanic armies with superior firepower and tactics.
" They must have been preparing for years to attack us after Thanos. They believed our momentum was too much."
Steve spoke with a sad expression, witnessing that despair. He clenched his fists with anger, showing his resolution to stop them.
" Then we will deploy who can reach these places first. They must have adequate power and an ability to escape in the worst case."
Bruce ( bat ) commented on his thoughts while dividing powerhouses. He decided it was the best idea to leave someone on standby while others fought against them in any case.
