Arthur sat in the corridor with a depressed face while Gabriel and Hela tried to cheer him up. He knew Gods couldn't manifest themselves due to their power, but he was perfectly fine to do so, yet he was unable to figure out that.
" Ah, I am losing my mind. How can I touch my children or walk outside."
Arthur scratched his head with sadness in his voice, knowing this was bad scenery.
" Relax. At least we can see you. Besides, others will find a way to do that. You just have to be calm."
Hela caressed his head, knowing he was weak at that point because there was no way he would show his true face normally. Probably his physical body was able to affect his mind and keep him cool, but his current him was no different than his young years. He didn't notice it, but Hela was able to tell his soul age was regressed because of the backlash.
" Wait! I know someone who could help you! Do you remember the people that you entrusted me to find out?"
Gabriel spoke with a brightened face as she recalled the people in her report. Arthur told her to investigate them since he found their actions were suspicious.
" Right? But how can they help me?"
Arthur pointed at his body, not knowing what to do. Fortunately, there was an advantage to being a ghost and that was his stamina. He has unlimited stamina right now which was cool since humans need to rest, but as a ghost, he didn't need to do so.
" I found out that they have been living on this planet since the civilization started. They have been acting as the leaders and gods of mankind prior to the dawn of heroes."
Gabriel showed him photos of various ancient records and sightings which proved her theory. She believed this group of people lived for thousands of years until now and they might know about his current condition more than anyone because they had the same roots as him.
" Alright, I will give it a shot, but don't tell Tyrande and others. Especially our parents and children. They will be worried about me."
Arthur got up from his seat as he floated around. Hela sighed at his sight whilst holding her laughter back. She saw current Arthur as a cute boy rather than his manly normal self.
Meanwhile somewhere in the USA
Ajak was watching TV with a frown on her face. She witnessed the fall of the greatest hero on Earth as villains celebrated with a loud cheer, mocking people with their grins.
" Sigh* Even I can't survive from that type of explosion, yet he was able to keep his life."
She saw Arthur was being carried away by the heroes. There was a slight sorrow in her eyes due to her internal feelings. They aka Eternals had been guarding this planet for eons, but they were unable to involve themselves in the war.
" How long do we have to watch them die before eyes?"
She muttered lightly, feeling complicated inside her heart. The eternals vowed to protect this planet from their bitter enemy deviants and that came with a price of being unable to respond in human emergency. They saw Thanos and others invade their planet while ravaging everything, yet they were unable to move because they promised their gods and creators aka Celestials.
" If the beacon falls here, we will truly can't protect this planet."
She closed her eyes with a deep look.
On the other hand, every other eternal was living their life fullest. Due to their immortality, most of them had been traveling around the world without any purpose in their mind.
The same went for Serci who was currently working as a museum worker at the National Natural Museum of London. She was teaching the young children with a gentle face while a man watched her with a soft expression.
Clap*
The children clapped their hands with loud cheering, not knowing what was happening outside because the adults didn't tell them. They didn't know the turbulent time had come to their doors when Arthur fell as the protection of London was gone.
" That was a wonderful explanation, Serci."
The man smiled while holding her hands.
