Chapter 64 Angel of Haven

" No!"

Just as Gorr was about to slash the throat of Sif who stood before him without any defense, a sharp sword blocked his strike.

Clash*

The bright overflowing hair blocked his vision along with a brilliant set of armor that hindered his eyes.

" You dare to murder my watch, creature. In the name of the heaven, I shall smite thee."

The woman kicked Gorr with her heels as she slashed down her sword mercilessly. Her red hair revealed her jade-like face from the shadow, making others gasp with her beauty.

" I am Angela, the warrior of Heaven. I shall carry out my duty as an ambassador of my realm and kill unjust beings."

Heven was once part of the realms but the queen of Angels and Odin fell out. Their inevitable conflict led to the distraught between the realms before Odin and Hela completely shut them down.

" As for you, I will deal with you later."

Angela recognized Asgardian clothes, believing they were her enemies but the creature before her was even more dangerous than them.

" Another God? You don't know your place."

The black sword clashed with Angela's golden sword but to his surprise, Angela pulled out an axe from her behind, almost cleaving his arm off.

" Your tricks are meaningless in front of me. I have hunted far more dangerous beings than you. All I need to do is to dodge that evil sword."

Angela recognized the danger of the sword while engaging in the battle. Each time she stroked Gorr, she aimed his vital points. Furthermore, her axe was more overbearing than her sword, destroying everything on its way to imply how dangerous she was.

" You!"

Gorr was enraged when he was finally at the end. He was going to kill these arrogant gods and hunt the God who hurt him but now another God was getting in his way.

" Die!"

Angela's axe came crashing down on him, destroying the entire field around them as Gorr heard the cries of his son. His face went paler when he heard him beg for his father, desperately leaving the battlefield to find his son.

" Where do you think you are going?"

Angela didn't give him a chance to get away from her, tailing him with incredible speed but Gorr managed to blend into the shadow with his son. His disappearance made Angela burst out with anger because she was stranded in nowhere and she lost her prey.

" Are you from Heaven? I heard your realm was banished to the great darkness along with your queen.

How did you get out from there?"

Sif carefully put her severed arm in ice while looking at Angela who was in deep thought.

Fortunately, she didn't try to attack them because she valued honor.

" I don't know. Although I think of you as my enemies, I couldn't just leave you here to die."

Angela sat on the rock to rest from battle, she frowned when she saw Sif's severed arm. Without thinking twice, she used her magic to tend her wound until they received help from outside.

" Thank you. I heard angels were brutal beings but apparently, I was wrong. If Odin was here, he might have recognized you as a warrior but current Asgard is in no condition to do that."

Angela's face changed when she heard her words, not knowing why Asgard was in a dire situation because surely they had the greatest beings in all realms.

Odin and Hela who ruled the realms with their might and Frigga who was rumored to be the wisest person in all realms. There was no way that they would be in a poor situation.

" I don't know why you are trying to deceive me. But surely your realm can't be in a poor situation after exiling us. You had every treasure in your vault."

Fandrall smiled bitterly at her words, sitting down next to Sif while looking at her.

" Asgard has been destroyed by Surtur. We lost so many brave warriors in war and building our home in Midgard.

Odin and Frigga had passed away while their son Loki took the throne."

Angela couldn't believe in her ears, thinking this had to be a lie since Odin was the strongest God there to exist.
