Chapter 65 Helheim Goddess

Hela stood before Angela with a solemn face after hearing the words of her people. She sat on her throne, looking down at her without any expression whilst hiding the fact that she disliked Heven people.

In her opinion, they were too greedy and selfish to be called angels and they even dared point their weapons toward Asgard.

" I heard what they have said, angel. You said you were isolated from your home after the sudden explosion of energy.

My husband might be able to explain that incident when he comes back but surely you have a story to tell. Tell me, what do you seek from us?"

She remained calm under her gaze, knowing she was hiding something in her heart for she could see it. She was glaring at her like she was some sort of her savior and as well as her worst enemy.

" I seek a soul from your realm. She is my lover who is banished into your realm. I don't care if I can get back, as long as I can get her back."

Hela's eyes turned cold when she mentioned reviving her lover for it was taboo. Especially after ascending to the throne, she had tons of responsibilities and one of them was to keep the realms in balance until her son fully awakened his power.

" Impossible. The dead can't mingle with the living. Request another thing from me."

Angela didn't budge at her words before she threw her dagger to her feet to showcase her intent which made all Asgardians fall into silence.

This time Hela's expression turned sour with rage because Angela dared to challenge her authority right in front of her people. Her sword appeared next to her as she rose from her seat.

Swoosh*

However, before she could accept her challenge, Arthur arrived in the hall with Loki and Ragnar. His eyes focused on Angela as he coughed to lighten up the mood.

" What is happening, Valkyrie?"

Valkyrie rubbed her temple, pointing at Angela with stress on her face since she was creating problems for them.

" She saves Sif and others. Also, she challenged your wife to a duel."

Loki's jaws almost hit the floor when he heard this because even he wouldn't dare to battle her unless Thor was with him. Even so, he wasn't confident enough to injure her seriously because she was basically immortal in Asgard.

" Mother was challenged by her?!"

Ragnar spoke with awe, not hiding her respect for Angela. He believed Arthur wouldn't want to do that after the last incident when she blew up the entire building during an argument.

" I see. Where are Sif and the others? What about Thor?"

Valkyrie sighed once again, thinking this mess was created thanks to Thor who left them unattended in alien land. Fortunately, the medical team was able to reattach her arm and heal injured warriors with their exceptional technology.

" In medical bays, as for Thor..."

Before Valkyrie could say anything, Thor walked into the throne room with an ugly face. He then raised his head to look at Ragnar which made his face beam with a smile for he was the most cherished person in his life.

" Ah, it isn't my beloved nephew. Come to your uncle."

He then bear-hugged Ragnar, putting him near his spiky beard which made him struggle a bit before he resigned to his fate. He couldn't help to be loved by his both uncles who gave him different kinds of love.

" You are squeezing him, brother. Besides, why did you leave Sif and others in an alien land? Because of that, they are injured."

Thor put Ragnar down as his smile disappeared from his face. The thunder crackled around his body while his tone shifted to cold.

" What happened to them, brother?"

He didn't leak out his killing intent but the surging lightning told them that he was angry because they were his best friend.

" She saved them from the butcher and she challenged me to duel, brother. Perhaps, I should show her the might of Asgard."

Thor raised his eyebrows, looking at Angela with curiosity before he motioned Hela to calm down. He didn't want to kill his benefactor but he also didn't want to get the bad side of Hela.
