Chapter 66 Heven angel

" So you are saying that you want to revive your lover. Do you think we will do that? I mean I am grateful for saving my people's lives but breaking taboo is another thing. It will break the boundaries between the living and dead world, potentially inviting attention from some unwanted beings that could destroy my world."

Arthur agreed with Hela's statement, thinking it was too much of a request since reviving someone was taboo unless she had exceptional reasoning.

" My realm is banished by your people and you exiled from my home. I saved your people and you can't do a simple task.

If then I will force the matter into you."

Arthur rubbed his temple with stress, looking at Angela with bewilderment. She was stubborn like his wife and her family which was hard enough for them.

He didn't understand why gods and angels were so stubborn in this world. Perhaps it might have to do with their thinking or common sense overall but even so they were extremely stubborn.

" I can't allow such a duel with my wife, Angel. If you want to resurrect her, help us here for a while and earn your worthiness by contributing to society.

I will accept your grace for my people as one of the tokens and you only have to do 4 more jobs."

Angela fell into silence after hearing Arthur's words, pondering for a moment before she nodded her head in agreement. That sounded reasonable to her because he didn't ask for time-based service or any biased request.

" Fine, but I will refuse it is unreasonable."

Arthur sighed with relief when he heard her words, extending her hand to show his appreciation but unfortunately, Angela didn't understand his gesture before Loki whispered his intentions to her ears with his magic.

" I will be in your care, mortal."

She squeezed his hand with her all might since that was what Loki said but to her surprise, she found Arthur was quite strong.

" Um, don't shake other's hands with this type of strength because surely you will crush their bones without any problem."

Arthur glanced at Loki with a calm face which made him tremble with fear. His eyes darted toward Hela and Thor who were also glaring at him with some sort of tartness like they were aiming at his head.

Meanwhile in the prison.

Dracula raised his head to look at Marc's smug face because he robbed his all jewelry from his home and took away all valuables.

" I told you that you need to pay for your debt, old sucker. Do you think I can fund myself with my meager salary?"

Dracula gritted his teeth with bitterness, wanting to strangle him to death but he couldn't move thanks to the shackles which rendered him powerless.

" Marc Spector, I will rip your heart after getting out of this prison. Mark my words, you will die in slow agony as you will beg for a swift death."

Marc snorted at his face, thinking it was a bluff because he was technically immortal. Besides, he would ask for help from his friends and that would make things much easier.

" Don't swear too much, old bag. Your mosquitoes are going to turn into ashes soon."

Marc grinned with a cold face, cracking his knuckles to show his interest in killing his henchmen. It didn't matter if they were vampires or not because nobody would care about a bunch of lovers who would continue to parasite society.

" Don't you dare, Marc Spector! My fellow people won't let you go."

Marc hatred his step suddenly, turning his head back to his cell. His cold eyes focused on his crimson eyes, not showing any fear or hesitation.

" What do you mean that, Dracula? Have you joined the villain association? Who are the members of it?"

Dracula smiled with a mocking face while raising his cuff.

" Release me, Marc Spector. If you do that, I will tell every secret that I know to your people.

Doesn't sound that bad, right?"

Marc thought for a moment before pulling out his cellphone which had a special service that could bypass jamming. He dialed Arthur's number to have a conversation for it was time to sort out of the rats.
