Chapter 5
I woke up at the sound of the alarm. Why do I always forget to remove my alarm on Saturdays? But since I'm wide awake now, might as well made my breakfast. I felt like I really slept well last night. I hadn't even had some nightmares.
I opened the door and was thrilled to see a six feet guy, lying on my couch uncomfortably, who's only wearing his boxers. I forgot about him, stupid Levi! I walked towards him, planning to wake him up, but I noticed the bruises on his arms. This guy really take everything last night.
I reached my hand to shake him, but the moment my hand touched his skin, he immediately grab my wrist and pull me closer to him. I looked at him to see if his awake, but his eyes are still close.
"H-Hey! What do you think your doing?" he just groaned and tightened his grip on me. I closed my eyes real tight to calm myself.
"Let me go!" I said trying to free myself out in his arms. He then opens his left eye.
"What time is it?" he asked, though I'm sure he's half awake.
"It's six fifteen in the morning. It's time to get your ass up" I said still struggling inside his arms.
Instead of answering me, he move sideways and let me lay my head on his right arm, while he's head is comfortably lying on my neck. So basically, our bodies is sharing a very small couch.
I am literally losing my temper here.
"It's too early to wake up at six, when it's Saturday. Let's sleep for another hour, okay?" he replied and hugs me even tighter.
"Ugh! Come on Kai! Let me go! I won't be able to sleep now that I'm wide awake" I complained at him
"No, sleep with me" he said and holds me more, letting me know that breaking free from him would never be easy.
I looked at him, and his eyes are unbelievably closed. He lay his head on my neck comfortably while his right hand is rubbing my hair. After few minutes , I just found myself getting comfortable with our proximity. Then slowly, I finally drift off.
I opened my eyes hastily, I really have slept. My brow arched as I noticed that no one was beside me. Where's Kai? Did he left already? Well that's a good thing, I don't have to deal with him now.
I stood up and arrange the pillows in the couch and folded the blanket, then I put it back to my closet. I really can't believe that I fell asleep having someone on my side. I'm used to sleeping alone, so it's a funny thing for me.
I head towards the kitchen and was shocked to find out that my assumption was wrong. He's still here, and he's happily using my kitchen.
I cleared my throat to inform him of my presence. He turned to my direction and immediately smiled at me.
"Good morning!" he greeted
I just ignored him and went to my refrigerator to look for something to eat, then sat on the kitchen table. The moment that I was settled, he placed a plate of food in front of me. I stared at the meal and then averted my attention to him.
"What?! It's breakfast, just in case you don't know what that is" he immediately answered when he noticed me
"I know what it is, idiot." I answered him while glaring at him
"Good, then eat" I was a bit confused as how I felt his authority when he said that. I was about to answer him, but the moment I opened my mouth he immediately cut me off.
"It's fine to have preserved meal, but it's still not good for you. Now, I've prepared you a decent meal, and your choices are, you'll eat the meal that I've put in front of you or, you'll eat the meal that I've prepared" he said while wearing a smile on his face
I looked at him and looked down at the food. Well, it looks appetizing to me. I sigh and dig in. I was a little amazed, it seems like he's good at cooking.
"So where did my clothes go? " he asked while he's chewing his food
"The laundry" I plainly replied, avoiding any further conversation with him
"Good, then I guess I'll be staying here a bit longer" he said cheerfully
"What the heck are you saying?" I asked him
"Well, I can't be on the street, wearing only boxers." He said it with a small hint of sarcasm
I looked at him at he's smiling at me. He looks like a dog to me.
"I'll let you use one of my clothes, then I'll just return yours when it's done" I said, then stood up and placed my used plates in the sink
"You're done already?" he asked
"Obviously dude, so just go take a shower after you finish your food. I'll go look for something you can wear" I said as I leave the kitchen and head towards my room.
I looked for something that he can wear, but as I looked into the closet, I realized that I don't have any clothes for him. He's around six feet, while I'm around five six. I groaned as I took the last birthday gift that my mother gave me. I have no choice, it's the only oversized clothes I have.
I walk heavily towards the living room and waited for him in the couch. I have to sent him away, as soon as possible. I hate having visitors.
About ten minutes later, he stepped out of the bathroom room, wearing only a towel on his lower body. His hair were wet and messy, and I admit that it suits him perfectly. He also has a perfect shape body. I'm quite sure that ladies will drool over this view in front of me.
"Uhm, I think you're drooling"
I was back to my senses when he said that and sat beside me.
"Fuck off dude! Go change and leave" As said
He groaned and walk back towards the bathroom.
"Is that your way of thanking me? I saved you twice now" he said as he finally close the door.
I felt guilty, and it's not that I'm rude, I just want to have my own space. I love being alone more, than having some company.
After a few more minutes he was ready to go. Since I don't want to be too rude to him, I walk him out of my unit.
"I'll comeback to get my clothes here" he said as he walked out of the door.
"No need, I'll return it to you" I said and was about to close the door, but he stopped it with his hands.
"What n---" I didn't even get to finish what I was about to say, because he pulled me closer to him and gave me a hug.
I honestly don't know to do, and how to react. He just hugged me tight, and it's comforting to me. When he pulled back, he just gave me a smile, then totally leave.
