CHAPTER SIX

AURORA

I watched as the tears cascaded down my cheeks and landed on the bare ground, I had never felt this way before, I had lost the memories of everything I held dear, I felt empty and hollow inside, even as the strange yet oddly familiar man wrapped his hands around me causing my skin to tingle, I couldn't help but feel sad, I felt empty and hollow inside, I had no one and worse I had no identity, no memory of who I was, I felt like a fugitive and as I closed my eyes to sleep in the comfort of the strong arms that held me tight, my void and pty mind revolved around one question, who am i?

TERRENCE

It had gotten way worse by lunchtime, the entire cafeteria had their eyes on Aurora even the girls who had shunned her in the morning stared at her with reverence, they practically worshipped the floor on which she stood,if something wasn't done soon,and she would expose us all.

Dad taken a job as the substitute after the regular teacher fell 'ill' just so that he could keep an eye on her, and man! was he not happy, he was at the near point of separating her spirit from her body, and after various pleas he had agreed to give her one more chance before destroying her completely and judging from the wild manic glint his eyes took when he said it I knew he was serious, but there was a strong irge in me to protect her at all costs, so I tailed her and kept her powers under control, that was until now, she was caving in, giving in to the pressure, I saw her hyperventilate, her eyes dilate as she drew in energy and shot it forth with a tremendous blast and I was too late to stop it

I felt her energy on mine and instantly I knew, she mine, she was made for me, my other half and amidst the frozen people in the room, I saw her, she was mine, she was beautiful and she was going to die by my father's hand if I didn't do something

As if on cue, dad and Jared blasted into the room in a whirlwind of power.

"Enough is enough" dad roared " she must be put down now, a spell of that magnitude could expose is all" he snarls spraying spittle

"She is mine" I snarl back "my fated mate and I'm not letting go of her"

Dad just laughs, he laughs a slow humorless laugh and soon he is shaking from the mirth, and tears cascaded down his cheeks

" The fates must be going crazy, pairing my son with the daughter of Zor"

"Who is Zor and why are we just hearing about him?" Jared asks quizically

He ignores him and began walking towards us menacingly, a ball of lightning hovers over his hand dangerously as he stalking towards us

"Let her go son" he says dangerously "there will be others, trust me you don't want her"

She clutches onto me tighter, and I feel pride that she can depend on me, I had to save her, father advances and in a blur strikes, Aurora screams and cowers back, I summon my twin blades and our powers clash in a chaotic battle, the powers of the sun against the powers of the sky, I am no match for him, he had been around since the beginning and soon I am sprawled on the floor, I look desperately for a way to save her, silently pleasing for my brother to intervene but he just watches as he stalks her and pray silently.

He leans over and touches her and anger rises in me, but I can't do anything, I start tearing up, and that's when I see it, her eyes have gone completely gone black, the air around her hummed with power, she stood, then levitated off the ground, her hair billowing in the wind, with a loud yell she let loose a wide arc of black magic, knocking my Dad off his feet and into a deep sleep

I reached out to her, her magic causing a deep sensation in me

"Good job" Jared says "I suggest you get out before he wakes up"

Staggering up, I cast a glare at my brother and muttered a word of thanks, and soon we stood in front of the dark doorway to Altare

"She cannot pass with her human memories, you know that brother, it's too much, it taints it and you might just end up in Olvork"

I grabbed her weak frame and placed my hands on her temples, this was selfish I knew that but I had no choice I couldn't lose her, she had been chosen for me and I would her, there was nothing I wouldn't have done and so I took her memories, and taking her limp body and step through the portal

QALOS(dad)

I woke up completely fazed, I sat up feeling dazed and groggy and then the incidents rushed back to me, shit!, my fucking son was fated to be with her, of all the people the people in The world, the sins of the past had caught up with me,

I sat there on the floor contemplating my options when my son brought me out of my reverie

"You've been a dick all my life" he said not showing his usual respect "but this is the worst you have done, you've driven the fates heir of the cosmos, your son out of your presence, you tried to hurt his beloved, I contemplated on removing your spirit while you were weak, but I need answers, who is Zor and why do you want to annihilate his descendants?"

"I don't have time for this" I said trying to get up when ghostly fetters and chains wrapped around me and pulled me down

"The people are still frozen father" Jared says "there are no witnesses, tell me now, I will not ask again who is Zor?"

"You won't" I sneered "I'm your father"

"Test me" he says simply, his eyes taking on an evil glint "who is Zor?"
