Waking up was unusual, different some might have even said strange, it felt like I was meeting my body for the first time 


Each exhale of breath felt strange like I had held my breath for a very long time 


My name echoed throughout the room but it didn't feel like my name at all, my head swiveled in the direction of the call 


And there he was, his face grim but beautiful even amidst the black goop spattered across it 


"You're awake" he said simply before he closed in on me with a hot scorching kiss and as his hands fisted my hair, I couldn't help but moan and lean into the warmth of the kiss 


A sudden clearing of the throat killed the moment and Terrence pressed a chaste kiss on my jaw before pulling away as Samhain watched us with much amusement and fire dancing in his eyes 


"We were just err" Terrence began stuttering some curse words as he racked his mind for any explanation he could give
