Chapter Twenty Four (2)

"This one would look great on you ma'am." The young girl, who looks no more than my age says, shoving a lilac dress in my face.

The colour is definitely beautiful. It has thick straps and is tight around the bust area. It has a ribbon going right below, and the rest of the fabric flows down, sweeping the floor.

The ribbon might be a bit of a no-no...

"Nope. The colour wouldn't look good on you." He simply says, leaning on the wall, with his hands shoved deep into the pockets of his jeans. I turn around and give him a glare.

"Why not? I wear lilac all the time." I say slightly offended. Lilac is a beautiful colour and I wear it all the time. Besides, the dress is simple, yet elegant. Just the way I like things.

"It doesn't scream 'you'." Is all he says before taking out his phone and starts tapping against the screen. Of course, I was letting a boy help me choose a dress.
