Chapter Eighty One

Yeah, that didn't turn out good, did it?

"Evelyn, he's my ex. There's a reason we call his that."

"Yeah I know, but you guys broke off for a stupid reason, taking in you're doing exactly the opposite of what he let you go for." She says like a teenage girl. Not that she isn't, it's just she usually doesn't act like this. Never talks about boys, it's like she has no time for them.

"He let you go to be safe, and what are you doing? Risking your life being in one of the biggest gangs in the city."

"And why are you supporting him? And accusing me, may I add?

"I'm not. I'm just asking why'd you leave him if you were going to turn to gangs because of him? It just doesn't make sense to me."

"It's not like he hurt you-"

"He did!" I shout, causing her to go small at my words.

"Why do you think I was suffering for weeks? Who does that? Just lets their girlfriend go because it's dangerous? He was supposed to be there for me!" I scream.
