The potion

"You have a sister?" Delaney gasped.

"I didn't know either, but yes. I have a sister." He showed her the anklet the birds brought. "This anklet belonged to my grandmother, who passed it down to my mother but I don't think anyone has ever seen it again. Everyone thought it was lost."

That still didn't explain it. She picked up the anklet to inspect it. Like everything she had seen that belonged to deities of the sun, it looked old but valuable and had little suns hanging off it. "It's beautiful." She gushed. "But just because it belonged to your grandmother doesn't mean it had to belong to your sister, does it?"

"As soon as I had her anklet in my hands, I could feel her. That only happens with siblings because we're part of the same soul."

She nodded, but she still had many questions. Was this sister a twin? Otherwise, who was her father?
