Evidence

Adam parked in front of the police department but he didn't get out of the car just yet. Adam sat there rethinking everything that happened in the apartment. 'Was I being too mean to her?',he thought to himself before shaking his head brushing away the thought.

'No, no if anything she knows she shouldn't have said that. Why did she say it though? She knows how I feel about that. She knows how I get when she mentions that.'

"Damn it!", Adam yells all of a sudden banging his fists against the steering wheel. He curses under his breath as he runs his hands through his hair. His phone beeps notifying him he got a message. He opens the message and looks at it for a minute.

"Looks like it's time to go."

"So, you're telling me everything just disappeared somehow?"

"Not quite, sir. It just happens that while the officers were on the way to the scene everything was already gone...including the person who reported it."

"What do you mean by that?"

Adam was pacing around his office as Jackson gives him the report of what has been happening within that past few hours. Adam was slowly getting frustrated with the passing time. He was also getting angrier and angrier after hearing the one possible lead they had is now gone. Of course, Jackson was terrified that Adam's anger will all be taken on him. Luckily it wasn't.

"I know it's bad and all but Swanson's team is on the scene and taking action. So-"

"Take me there." Adam interrupted. Jackson looked at Adam as if he didn't understand a word he just said.

"What? You deaf or something? I said take me there. Take me to the scene."
