The city of Millstone

Upon arriving at the city of Millstone, Aiden was amazed by the crowd of people just at the other side of the gate, 'Those two women said that this kind of city is town? This is even bigger than the town of Criton!'

Knowing what kind of crowd in front of him, he slowly and carefully got off of his horse to not hit anyone along the way. He asked one of the guards standing near the gate and asked with a smile on his face, "Hello, sir. May I ask where the nearest stable is? I want to leave my horse there"

The guard, with a light brown, reddish beard and hair, smiled back and responded, "Good morning sir, you can just leave the horse to me and I will deliver it to the government's stable. The location is not far from the inn of Millstone, so you can get your horse there, may I ask for your name?"

Aiden responded back, "My name is Aiden. How about the fee?"

The guard smiled and said to him, "The fee is 2 copper a day in the stable. Would you like me to guide you too?"

Aiden raised one of his eyebrows and thought about it, 'This guy seems suspiciously kind… I'm kind of afraid of what he would do to me when I dropped my guard. Hmm, maybe I should trust a person for once"

Aiden nodded, "Alright, here are some tips for you"

[You lost 1 gold coin]

The guard looked at the coin and shook his head, "Certainly sir, though, I can't really accept tips because it's my work to do this. Also, people might think that you are bribing me, please take this back"

Aiden shook his head back at him, "Just take it, you deserve it"

While walking on the busy road with a big horse beside him, the guard led Aiden to the stable he was talking about earlier. The guard talked with the stableman and came out not long after, "Sir, its all registered and done. Shall we proceed with your tour?"

Aiden nodded and the man instantly said to him, "So here is the inn I was talking about earlier, the fee is about 2 copper a night, pretty cheap. Now, follow me…"

After a long day moving around the city, they parted ways, Aiden soon found himself right in front of the inn. He opened its door and saw the room full of people, talking with each other. Ignoring all of that, he went straight to the innkeeper, "Good evening sir, I would like a room, I might stay here for a week or two"

The innkeeper gave Aiden a key, "You can pay tomorrow"

[You lost 3 silver coins]

Aiden placed the coins on the counter and smiled at him before going to his room. Once he reached his room, he jumped straight into the bed, "Ahhh! This comfy bed! After a long time of travelling"

He smiled while slowly closing his eyes. But all of a sudden, a thought went across his mind, 'That guy… That guard sounded so suspicious. Why would the guard leader even let him tour the new people?"

He slowly drifted to sleep, "M... a… yb…. e…. I'm ju… st overt…. hinking"

The next morning, Aiden woke up, he rubbed his eyes and opened the window of his room, doing his daily routine, looking out of the window, "The view here is not as peaceful as my old village… it's still a good view though…"

He sighed, remembering his true objective at the city, "Where do I start? Should I just wander around the city mindlessly, hoping for something to happen? Or should I find a source of information and ask the person to provide me with information I'm looking for?"

He sighed once again and sat on the edge of his bed and the image of the guard from yesterday went across his mind, "Maybe that person has some information? I doubt it though… Or should I really ask him? Let's just do it…"

Soon enough, he found himself walking through the busy and bustling main street of the city, carefully evading people on his way. But he somehow managed to bump into someone… bald, bearded and muscular, with a group of other muscular men.

The muscular man got close to his face and said to him, "Hey! Are you not going to apologize to me? After bumping to me like that, you dare not apologize to me? Or are you just scared? You want us to beat you up?"

Aiden, were silent and keep a straight look on his face while the man talked to his face, he sighed and said to the man, "Hey dude, we both bumped to each other, so there's no point for only one side to apologize"

At this point, the crowd somehow made a little space around Aiden and the big man without them even noticing. The guard suddenly laughed at Aiden and talked to his friends in a mocking manner, " 'There's no point for only one side to apologize' What a joke!"

(Oh yea, Aiden turned 19)

The 19-year-old sighed once again and asked, "So, what are we going to do now?"

The man raised one of his eyebrows and placed his face right in front of Aiden, he then spitted to the 19-year-old face, 'Well… There he goes, starting a fight, I think I could fight them, there're clear difference in weight class though… can my technique alone do it though? I think I should just use liver punch to them all"

Well, it seemed as that spit was enough to make Aiden to start the first move; he punched the man right at his liver. Instantly knocking him down, then just kicking the man's face, neck, genital with his leg while the man was down.

(Okay, yea, liver punch is no joke, don't test it. It will hurt so much that you would just fall to the ground by getting grazed at that region)
