Talking to the people who saved him

Shocked by the news, he shouted, "What?!? She died?!"

The girl, the doctor, nodded, "You must be surprised because of this, but this is no surprise. All three of their siblings, including Jasmine herself, are evil!"

Aiden shook his head and disagreed with her, "Her two brothers have the looks of a villain! But I don't think that Jasmine,"

The girl interrupted him, "Well, it wasn't the case for my own eyes. Seeing her being the one stabbing her own sister while the two fake mamluks just stared at her. Those fake mamluks were from the same unit those men in black you fought with, they faked their skills, pretending to be weak! And because of that, that girl escaped!"

His heart fell a sudden pain, he placed his hand on his chest, 'F*ck! F*ck! What is this pain! And that girl, that Jasmine was faking this all along???'

Meanwhile, in a galaxy far, far away, as the two gods were talking to each other, the God of time suddenly said, "Wait… I just felt it, that man, the one you were talking about… Aiden, I felt his sadness all of a sudden. His fate of being sad is happening, but… he won't be sad for a long time after this one!"

The God-king chuckled, "Well, that's not a problem, being sad once in a while is not a problem. He has a good fate after all…"

Back to Aiden, he thought to himself, 'This feeling… I feel sad, I was betrayed by the person I trusted!'

The feeling on his chest slowly disappeared, but one thing for sure, he said to himself with his brows furrowed and his face slightly red, 'No matter what! Before I find Ava, I will take revenge for Ekrem!'

The doctor sighed, "I know you are angry. The king of the kingdom is also angry. He is a friend of Sultan Arslam, a best one at that. Of course, he raged when he received a letter from the now-deceased Sultan, but that letter…"

Aiden slowly cooled down, he asked the girl, "What does the letter say?"

The girl smiled as she continued her words, "That letter said a great man, ancestor of kings from the north, is near and will help the kingdom at its darkest time. He sent out me, the best doctor in the royal palace, just for this man, I assume it's you because of the sword you have, "

Aiden slightly nodded, "Maybe it is me… But, how do you know?"

The girl smirked, "You were unconscious at that time, we tried to grab your sword from your grip and put it at its scabbard. Of course, we failed. But one man kept trying, people called him the strongest in this group after all,"

Aiden calmed down completely at this moment. He chuckled and guessed what happened next, "Let me guess, the sword flew off my hand like it was being controlled by magic or something?"

He laughed, but the girl nodded, "That is actually true. The sword flew off your hand, into its sheath. Then you suddenly woke up with white eyes and said something I was too far away to hear clearly. At that moment, the strongest man in our group cowers in fear and kowtowed to you,"

Aiden burst into laughter, "Did not expect that's what happened! Anyway… when will we attack them?"

The doctor shrugged, "I'll let you talk about that with the king when we arrived at the royal palace. Anyway, you should get some food from the campfire so you don't starve. I still have the two men to take care of,"

Aiden smiled as she closed the door for the carriage, 'Such a nice girl… anyway, let me put on some clothes and grab some food'

He used the cloth he found inside the chest behind his bed, just simple clothing, but it was enough for him. He strapped his sword while it inside it's inside its sheath to his waist.

[Equipped Dainsleif to slot one]

Aiden raised one of his eyebrows, "Oooh? What is this? Never saw this before,"

A notification appeared in front of his eyes.

[Message from the Angel of the God-king: I updated the system for you. The update to show your skill list should be coming in about a year]

[Slots]

[Slots is the places you placed your weapons on your body. The maximum amount of slots currently is four]

[With this function, the weight of the weapons placed on the slots would be reduced to 50%]

[Before using a weapon, you must place it in one of the empty slots. The placing of the weapons to the slots would be done automatically, just say the word]

[Armour don't have slots for the purpose of simplicity]

Aiden looked at it, squinting his eyes, "I mean… the glitch I experienced before, although weird, it benefited me. But doesn't this just put a restrain to the number of weapons I can use?"

He sighed, "No. I should be grateful. Four is a good number for this kind of thing,"

Aiden got out of his carriage and immediately noticed the heavily armoured soldiers, with plate armours, gathering around the campfire that has a pot on it and eating from a bowl of soup. He made his way there and sat at the empty space near the campfire.

The knight he sat beside immediately noticed him and dropped his spoon to the bowl almost immediately, "Eh? Aren't you that one guy we rescued?"

Aiden turned and faced the man, a bulky man, bald, brown eyes, "Yea, I am, nice to meet you. Now… where're the utensils?"

The man responded, "Ah, just ask one for the cook, he's coming shortly. Just wait a few minutes"

Aiden nodded in response and waited. The man continued eating from his bowl of soup in silent. But suddenly, the man asked the 19-year-old, "Oh yea, by the way… It seems that I need to ask you to forgive me. I tried to grab your sword, and it seems that your ancestor is angry at me"

Aiden smiled at him, "Then I will forgive you. You guys were there to help me. Quite frankly, I'm the one that should apologize to you!"

They both chuckled.
