Chapter 9: Tobias Origin

We are in a void of black, nothing but darkness. We see a figure standing up, the figure was pitch black, had white long hair, and yellow bright eyes. The figure speaks "Damn. How long has it been? 16 years? 20? I feel like it was yesterday since I was defeated by him! I've been trying to escape this hell ever since!" He punches the ground. This figure is named Tobias The Dark, he was once an enemy to one of the guardians of the universe. But, he doesn't remember which one. Yes, it has been 20 years since he has been stuck in the void. Tobias notices a dark aura "Hm?", We see a figure with purple horns and purple wings floating to Tobias. Tobias calmly says "Who are you?" The figure appears to have white clothing and a purple cape, he says with a deep British accent "You don't need to know at the moment, Tobias." Tobias calmly replies "You know my name?" The figure nods "Yes. I've known for awhile. If you don't know what to call me, call me Ledem for now." Tobias nods "Okay then." It was silent for a couple of seconds. "Why are you here again?" Tobias said. Ledem says "Ah yes. I'm here because I'm gonna help you escape." Tobias is intrigued "Really? How?" Ledem says "Just follow me." He floats to the opposite direction, Tobias follows him. A white portal opens to the outside world. They arrive on top of hill with a city 25 miles away. The scenery was beautiful, the wind whistles beautifully, and we hear the birds singing happily. Tobias is amazed "Wow. This world...it's gotten beautiful. Last time I came to this world...it was nothing but darkness..." Ledem agrees "Yes. Ever since they banished you, this world has become peaceful." Tobias looks at Ledem "So. What do we do now?" Ledem looks back at him "Well. First, we should turn you into a human. Also, swap your gender." Tobias snaps "WHY! I UNDERSTAND THE HUMAN THING BUT WHY THE GENDER SWAP?!" Ledem pats Tobias' head "Calm down. I need to gender swap you because if people see you as a male in human form, they might think you came back. Just in human form." Tobias isn't convinced "T-that doesn't make sense!" Ledem gets a bit mad "Are you underestimating mortal knowledge?" Tobias says yes. Ledem says "Mortals have known about you. They even teach the fetuses about the fight of Tobias and..." The name fades out, Tobias holds his head "Gr..." Ledem questions "Are you okay?" Tobias looks at him "Yeah. I'm fine...let's just do this..." Ledem smiles "Alright then." He grabs Tobias' face. Ledem puts a small amount of energy inside Tobias. Tobias glows purple and the transformation is complete. Tobias opens his eyes with sparkling yellow eyes, Tobias is still mad about this "Don't look at me!" Ledem chuckles "It's okay, Tobias. But...we should do something about your clothes. You're a bit revealed right now." Tobias is wearing ripped clothing. Tobias growls and changes his clothing with dark magic. He is now wearing a white jacket with yellow lining, and a white shirt. With white pants. Tobias says with a high-pitched voice "That's better." Ledem agrees "Now. I should explain myself." Tobias nods.

"You have to pretend to be a mortal because I want you to do this competition. I've heard about this competition from these mortals while I was looking around for tea. Then later that day, I was sitting outside a café, drinking my tea. I was also reading the tale about the guardian of cosmos battling the Darkness, Tobias. It was rather interesting, the way you got banished was weird...all of the guardians used all of their energy just to banish you. I thought to myself 'why couldn't they kill him?' So I decided to go to the void with my magic. I thought you were stronger than all of the guardians combined. My plan is to bring back the darkness, to destroy this world. But, my plan extended. This guardian competition came along and got me thinking again. If you go to the competition and become one of the guardians, you gain massive amount of power. With your power times more power, you're basically a god. So, what do you say?" -Ledem

Tobias thinks "Uh. Wow. Maybe....I don't know." Ledem says "Too bad." Tobias gets mad "Damnit Ledem! I'll do it! Even though I would do it anyway...you would force me..." Ledem agrees "Indeed." Tobias crosses he arms "So. Where is this thing?" Ledem points to the city "There. Yorruu City. Population 1.1 billion. Famous for the guardians of the universe." Tobias raises his hand "Alright. Let us get going-" Ledem stops Tobias with magic "Hold on, Tobias. Don't teleport. I want you to walk there. Please?" Tobias looks at him with a disgusted look "Fine." Ledem smiles happily "Goody. Now. Start walking."

Tobias jumps off the hill and starts walking to the city. He says in his head "This is gonna take a long time..." Ledem says "By the way, you're the only one that can see me. So, don't talk to me when you're around people." Tobias says "I wasn't going to talk to you the whole way through anyway." Ledem scoffs.

A couple minutes later

Ledem floats above Tobias "Almost there." Tobias ignores him. Ledem looks at Tobias "You can't ignore me." Tobias continues ignoring him. Ledem starts to get mad "Why are you ignoring me, Toby?" Tobias says quietly "Someone is nearby. 2 people, both have strong auras. That's why, now shut up." Ledem now understands. Tobias enters the city, it was beautiful. All the people around were nice, the children were running around playing. Tobias overhears kids argue about who's the best guardian. One boy said "Arjuna is the best guardian! He's a cowboy! And he runs a Corp!" Another boy says "No! Lady Infinite is the best one! She is one of the most powerful ones! She can summon a dragon! Way better than being a cowboy." A girl says "Delaine is the best one. He has a good heart, and he has good looks! He also has insane archer abilities!" Tobias slightly smiles but ignores them. He continues walking, then he senses the 2 auras from before. One gets closer to Tobias, and touches his shoulder. Tobias turns his hand into a dark blade and puts it at the persons throat. He was a male, and he said "Hey! Hey! Hey! Chill! I was just gonna ask you something!" Tobias says "Then say something before approaching me!" The male said "Alright. I'm sorry. I was just gonna ask, do you know where the guardian competition is being held?" Tobias says "Hm. If you want to know, you must follow me. That's where I'm going at the moment." The other aura comes to them, it's another male, he says "Hiero! Stop running away! We're gonna get there soon. No need to rush." Hiero, the male that was talking to Tobias said "Well. I'm sorry. Just needed to ask someone." The other male responds angrily "I LITERALLY TOLD YOU. IT'S JUST STRAUGHT AHEAD! COME ON! EVERYONE'S WAITING FOR US!" Hiero gives a thumbs up and runs off, the male sighs "Sorry for disturbing you, ma'm. Maybe we'll see you there." He smiles then runs to catch up to Hiero. Tobias is trying to figure out what just happened. Ledem says "Interesting bunch, aren't they? They have such a strong aura. An aura that can possibly destroy this whole city." Tobias replies "How would you know that?" Ledem says "Well. There are different types of auras. We have the common aura, which most mortals have. They aren't that powerful. Rare aura, an aura that mortals with talent have, like, when people exercise, have insane speed, or they're the strongest body builder. Kind of powerful but not all that powerful. Next, we have Gifted Aura, which what they have. An aura that can cause headaches to people if they can sense it. Then finally, Planetary Aura, which me and you have. We are not human. Obviously." Tobias is gone. Ledem gets mad and flies to Tobias "don't walk away like that. That's very rude." Tobias ignores him. Ledem doesn't care now. He just enjoys the walk.

Couple minutes later

Tobias arrives at the destination. But this time, we have a massive arena, the last time we saw it was just small. Now it's massive! Tobias is amazed "Woah..." Ledem replies "Woah indeed." Tobias starts to get  massive headaches, he screams in a high pitched voice. Ledem turns off Tobias' senses "Deactivate your senses, fool!" Tobias lies down and tries to catch his breathe. Diablo comes out of nowhere and yells "SHUT UP YOU TRAMP!" he swings his sword at Tobias, Grey blocks his attack "Calm down, Diablo. She's probably just scared." Diablo steps back and scoffs, he walks away. Tobias looks up at him and sees his face "That face...." he starts hallucinating about the fight with him and the guardian of cosmos. We see Tobias in his regular form fighting off the guardian of cosmos, Tobias was almost beaten but he had one trick up his sleeve, he created a huge sword from his arm, bigger than his body. Tobias yells "This is the end for you! BLACK DUST SWORD!!!" He swings his sword at the Guardian, but it takes awhile. The Guardian jumps towards the sword and spins his own 2 swords around. It causes the swords to multiply into 10, he throws 8 swords at Tobias. 3 swords stab through Tobias' sword. Then 2 swords stab through his chest, 2 stab through his legs, and 1 stabs through his eye. Tobias is weakened "You...you...bastard!!..." The guardian of cosmos slashes his 2 remains swords through Tobias. Tobias falls to ground, with no strength at all. He said "Damn you...C...c...coffin!" The guardian named Coffin, said "It's for you to be banished from this world, Tobias. You're not going to see this world, ever again." He casts a spell with his swords, then he stabs through Tobias' back "Begone from this mortal realm!" Tobias yells in pain till he got banished, which took a couple of seconds. Back to the present day, Tobias trembles "Thank...you..." Grey looks back at Tobias "No big deal. Anyways, are you okay?" Tobias nods. Ledem tries not to laugh "This looks like a cheesy romance series." Tobias ignores Ledem "Um...if you don't mind. Can I stick with you? Till this tournament starts?" Grey says "Sure. I'll introduce you to my comrades." He walks off to the centre of the arena and standing there is the Seishin. Yuziarhu Yushi, The Angel Seishin. Trinity The Entity, the Trinity Seishin. Miuki Akari, the psychic Seishin. Makura Akari, The Beast Seishin. And finally, Diablo, the Serpent Seishin. Grey says "These are my comrades. Yuziarhu. Trinity. Miuki. Makura. And Diablo, the guy that bothered you earlier." Tobias is intrigued "Wow. So all of you know the Seishin technique?" Yuziarhu nods "Yup. I'm the oldest student! I'm not going to brag but, I NAILED IT!" Tobias looks at her "Ah. What an interesting weapon you have there. Not many people use it." Yuziarhu says "I find it easier to use. That's why I use it!" Tobias looks at Trinity "Wow. You have 3 different sides of you. Is this how you fight?" Trinity nods "I am the first individual to awaken 3 Seishins. I can't seem to go back to my normal form...but it's fine. Also, I'm actually the first student..." Tobias then looks at Miuki and Makura. Tobias seems a bit sad "Oh...I see your blue haired friend here couldn't handle the pressure of Seishin..." He pats his head. Miuki says "He's fine. We'll find help soon enough." Tobias says "Interesting group! Also hi, Diablo. Anyways, I'll hang out with you guys till this thing starts!" Grey says "Funny. It's actually starting right now." Tobias replies with "oh". 

The announcer says "WELCOME! WELCOME EVERYBODY! THIS IS A ONE TIME EVENT THAT YOU WILL SEE THROUGH OUT LIFE! MAKE SURE YOU DONT MISS IT! I'LL PASS THE MIC TO THE GUARDIANS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!"

Everyone on the side lines cheered. Blood says "Hm. Where did these guys come from?" Scarlet shrugs "I don't know." In the front of the arena. The guardians slowly rise up from their thrones.

All of them are lined up nicely.

We see a woman with a black-red dress with black hair and a crown with a staff that glowed red on the tip. This woman is called Lady Infinite.

Beside her, we see a hooded man, dressed in brown and yellow with wings coming out from his back. We call this individual, The Payer. He has no name as he says.

The handsome figure next to him, is Delaine Bower. He wears all white, and has an iron bow as his weapon.

The one next to Delaine is Xeno. He is a shirtless middle aged man. He has something weird in the middle of his torso. He has long, dusty, hair. And has golden chained daggers as his weapon.

Next we have. Alonzo, he's kinda like Dracula but without the pale skin. His skin colour is light blue. He wears a purple-Black-Red coat and a red tie. He has a glass of wine in his hand.

Then we have a familiar face. Cane Darcon, We all know who he is so.

Next! Is...Master Shiro. We already know about him

The 8th Guardian is Arjuna Shano. He wears cowboy clothes basically, plus a bandit mask. The colour of his clothing is red and brown. Has 2 pistols as his weapon.

The 9th Guardian is Kusu Yami. His hair style is messy, he honestly doesn't care what his hair looks like. He wears all black and a red scarf. A 5 feet long black sword as his weapon. He has red eyes, kinda looks like Blood.

And finally, the 10th guardian, Coffin. He is the most experienced guardian out of all of them. He has silver hair and blue eyes. Has 2 swords as his weapon.

Blood says "So that's them..." Blade nods "This isn't going to be easy...". Tobias looks at Coffin"i-its him...". Grey looks at all of them with a serious look.

On the rest bench, Adam Lence wakes up "Hm..what did I miss?.." he rubs his eyes. "oh...it's this thing...". Conora looks up at the guardians "Wowie...all of them look strong..". Plad has his arms crossed "They all look weak...". All 9 of them say "Lets do this!"

Everyone that we saw from previous chapters are ready. And some new faces too. But...someone is missing...

The scene shows a blue void, someone with a green hoodie was sitting in the middle. He opens his eyes. The scene cuts to black.

WE'RE ALMOST DONE! One more chapter then we can finally begin. Hope you liked this chapter.
