SOME SECRETS ARE OUT

Suddenly I was awakened from my sleep by noises that could be heard all over the place. Slowly getting up from bed, looking around for a brief moment the room I was in was huge with dark theme colors ( dark purple and grey ) the windows were really huge with curtains covering them, that's explaining the dark atmosphere.

On both sides of the bed were two lamps, then at the right side of the room were three large glass doors. Too bad there's no television, what do they do for entertainment around here?

Climbing out of bed, I walked towards the first glass door. Opening it to see what was stored inside, the inside was obviously huge and filled with clothes mostly in black, dark purple, and grey colors. He definitely needs more colors to brighten his dull life.

"No wonder bloodsuckers love dark themes, their souls are dark." I chuckled at the thought but soon realized how sad it sounded. Was about to close the doors when my eyes caught something which was a gold light slightly shining from underneath damped clothes.

Curious while closing the door behind me, as I slowly walked towards it with interest and wonder.

Swiftly digging away the clothes, came a gold box in my sight of view with an ancient carven of a letter 'K' on the front.

"Does K stand for my name? or maybe I'm just mistaken or being delusional," I briefly push away the thought. Inside the box was the most interesting discovery I ever thought in my life would even come across. This is totally insane or fucking weird, I mean I'm staring at wedding pictures of me and Vincent, amulets, and a red necklace with my name on it.

A thought came to mind as I rushed out of the closet with the necklace in hand. Looking for my phone I press the speed dial. "Kath where have you been last night?" I could hear the worry in her voice but it wasn't the time for that.

"Now is not the time. The red necklace I have at home underneath the bed, I think I remember who gave it to me but I'm not positive if what I'm thinking is accurate or not." I told Abbey in my serious tone, she was silent for a bit then continued.

"Who?" She asked, getting more confused.

There was a knock on the door causing me to jump in surprise. Ending the call I hid the necklace under the bed then walked to the door. There standing was a girl with bright blue eyes, dark ginger red hair that reached her small waist, her skin was pale like she had died and brought back to life. But other than that her beauty was outstanding.

"My brother wants you downstairs to meet some very important people." She spoke looking at me dead in the eyes, was kind of creepy but I managed to shake the feeling off. Tilting my head I crossed my arms not liking how she's looking at me. She quickly caught on and avoided looking.

"Who are they?" I asked.

"It's better you come to look at yourself if you really want to know, oh there's some outfit in the bathroom please freshen up and be quick. Don't have time to waste," She told me keenly after sending me a cold glare, she then walked in the direction that looked to be the way downstairs.

"Valentina still has the same attitude." I thought with a sigh that escaped my lips then stopped for a moment trying to figure out how the hell I knew her name.

Now dressed in a black strap outfit that really shows my defined curves, my heels were a dark purple, topping it off with a gold necklace that was placed near my clothes while having my hair in its usual style of a messy bun.

Making my way through the halls which were filled with ancient family photos and portraits, walking past the kitchen my eyes caught a few maids and chefs that looked really happy seeing me approach.

Nervous by their overjoyed expression, I just waved with a pleasant smile on my face. I'm walking around in a mansion filled with vampires, this is not normal even for me.

Seeing their faces brighten up, they quickly bowed which caught my attention on why they were bowing. I looked behind me to see if anyone of high status was there but no one was.

"Why are you guys bowing at me?" I walked towards them pointing at myself confused, the workers looked at each other with smiles.

"No need to worry, we're just glad to see you back and looking healthy." A lady says cupping my hands together with tears forming from her eyes.

"Everyone here at Royal Woods heard the news of you returning." I looked around seeing Vin standing looking really handsome with his messy hair slightly covering his eyes.

My mouth is just from an O shape not knowing what the fuck is going on but just rolling with it, wouldn't be so bad. Taking my hands in his, he leads me to the persons I'm supposed to meet.

Stopping by two large doors Vin gave my hands a little squeeze then pushed the door open revealing whoever was on the other side.

There standing was a really handsome guy with brown chestnut hair. He looks like Royalty just by seeing his attire and the aura he's letting off. Letting go of Vin's hands I went closer to have a clear view of the guy's face, he just seems familiar.

"You know it's rude to stare at a handsome face like mine," He smirked.

I could hear Vincent groan behind me with annoyance. "Christopher!" My eyes widen from recognizing that voice. He looked different from the first time I met the guy.

"So let me get this straight you're not new here and you don't have a wife that's pregnant?" I question folding my arms realizing I was being played. I could sense that they were hiding something else from me but what could it be.

"Well no, I'm actually the second vampire ruler apart from Vincent, and Christopher isn't my real name it's Kaz," He folded his arms before continuing...

"And I do have a wife, which is my mate although she's not the female you saw with me that afternoon," He started taking a seat on the chair behind him looking amused.

"Do I know your wife or is she a part of whatever you guys are pulling?" I question again getting really annoyed that I don't know what's going on. I'm the type of person that likes knowing the details of things or I'm not gonna understand.

"We only do this for your safety, you have to trust us." I looked around to that familiar voice, bringing me face to face with the one person that was by my side throughout the ups and downs I've been through.

The one person I share all my secrets with, standing here looking completely different as if she's someone I'm not used to.

To think I was not angry but stupid and upset to not see the signs right in front of my eyes all these years but I have questions. I want to know if my suspicions are true or not.

Getting sick of being lied to I walked towards her across the room with my heels clicking on the floor, having some source of authority I think now I have then stopped inches away looking at her as if we're engaged in some sort of staring contest.

"Well, you're gonna look at me all day or you're gonna explain to me what the hell is going on Abbe-gale."
