Charlie was 14 when she fell head over heels in love with a boy in her school. She day dreamed him proposing to her, their wedding day, their first child, a boy named George, their second child, a girl named Alex. They would go to college together, him studying engineering, her studying drama. They would get a house together, with a garden where she would plant some flowers and some vegetables, where a dog would run around and play with the kids. She had the whole picture. She could see herself in that life. She would have loved that life, as much as she knew she loved that boy.
But he never paid attention to her, even worse, when rumours about her crush got to him, he started making fun of her, making it clear that he would never ever date her.
She was heartbroken. She dreamed of her fairy-tale love story, like her brother Aiden had. She was sure she can have that. She dared to tell her dream to her mom, and she just laughed out loud, telling her she is too wild to settle.
