Reading about medicine didn't make her a doctor

Taking off the white bandage, Liu'er discovered in horror the hole in her young miss' hand. The wound was deep and bleeding far too much for her comfort. Bai Yue's face was white and worry ate up Liu'er. Her fingers trembled when she attempted to carefully wash off the blood with water.

Bai Yu's hands were thin and bony due to the huge weight loss in the past three months. Her unhealthy lifestyle had left her skin dry and prone to scaring. With the blood gushing from the wound and the flesh exposed, the sight was especially gruesome.

"It looks worse than it is," Bai Yue comforted Liu'er in a soothing voice despite the pain that kept flaring up.

The girl's movements were clumsy and her worry painfully obvious. Bai Yue felt a little guilty. Not that it helped with the current situation.

The response she got came in the form of a pair of red-rimmed eyes glaring at her. "Miss, there is a hole in your hand! What could be worse?! No hand at all?"
