CHAPTER TWO

A large, tall and wide building was before me, there were countless stairs and endless halls. F. A. A building is really remarkable and amazing, undoubtedly, a school for the rich. I stood transfixed, as I watched students roam about in the building. Most part in the school I could see were empty, although the crowd was much, the academy building was really huge.

I sighed and decided to move. I dragged my bags with me, with the aim of finding my dorm easy and fast. This school building was of no doubt, confusing and difficult.

I've been walking aimlessly for the past seven minutes, wandering like I was lost. I was in the middle of a hall with no students in sight. I dropped my bags roughly and released a heavy breath tiredly. All I knew was that I needed to find the girls dormitory, get to dorm 35 and it will be settled. I took in my surrounding; my stomach churned in disbelief because this hall really looked endless and large.

"Fuck!" I cursed, looking around. I was not ready to go on an indefinite journey, moving around stupidly and probably getting lost. For all I know, I could probably be close to the girls dorm. I sighed in relief as I watched somebody, a guy I guess, walking towards my direction. He had a hoodie on, so he covered his head and face with the cap. He was getting closer, I waited eagerly ready to finally get help.

He was just two feet away from, so I decided to approach him.

"Hey, please where is the girls dorm?" I asked, pleadingly. He just passed me and continued walking like I did not exist.

"Hey!" I screamed, still hoping he will hear me but he continued walking. I am pretty sure he wasn't listening to anything or had any device in his ear. I just scowled at his attitude, kicking my bag hopelessly.

"Hey, can I help?" I heard a sweet girly voice.

I looked up and saw a girl, she was average height, had black shiny hair and beautiful without any make up. She offered me a smile.

"Yes you can." I replied, returning her smile.

"I'd love too. How can I help?" She asked still grinning.

"I need to go to the girls...."

"Dormitory." She completed it for me, she put her hand on her chin thoughtfully, looking at me. I raised my eyebrows at her. " Actually you'd need to climb down the stairs again, turn left, walk straight to a little black gate, turn to the right and climb three stairs up."

"What?" I asked in horror, I'm pretty sure all the colours must have drained from my face. The girl laughed, using her hands to cover her mouth. I wonder what exactly here is funny, me having to stress myself? Or she laughing at my stupidity? I just stared at her confused, my face demanding answers.

"You should have seen your face, like you're watching a very scary movie." She finally voiced out, I raised my eyebrows, still perplexed. "We are actually at the girls dorm, kind of though, you'll just have to turn left down the hall." She said pointing to it.

I sighed in relief, like I said, who knows? I could be close to the girls dorm. I turned to the girl and offered her my best smile.

"Thank you." I said, clutching my box tightly.

"You're welcome. I can walk with you if you don't mind." She said, I just nodding, agreeing. "By the way, my name is Victoria." She added, as she helped me with my other bag.

"I am Aurora." I replied.

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"You're a new student here right?" She asked with obvious amusement, perhaps, she's still pondering over the event that took place minutes ago

"You already know the answer." I stated as a matter of fact. Victoria just chuckled.

"Have you gotten your timetable?"

"Not yet, will get it later." I replied. Victoria just nodded.

We both walked in silence until Victoria halted.

"What is your dorm number?" She asked.

"No. 35." I said pointing to the next door in front of me. The rooms were not really close to each other and that, I'm really grateful of. Each room gave a reasonable distance.

"I stay at dorm 45, 10 rooms away from you." Victoria said smiling, I guess she some kind of smiling freak. "Bye Aurora, see you later." She said, slowly backing away.

"See you later Victoria." I said back.

"Stay out of trouble and be on your best behavior." Victoria advised, finally leaving. I just sighed, picking up one of my bags and dragging the other to the front of the door.

I pushed the door slightly then pushed it with more force this time. The door opened, revealing a large room with three comfortable bed. I glanced around the room and my gaze fell on two girls, sitting on their bed. I used one of my hands to prevent the door from closing. One of the girls, was the same red haired girl I saw outside the gate. She sat on top of her bed typing, her face screamed the word, 'seriousness', the second girl had brown long hair that should be above her butt, brown eyes. She was also typing and scribbling down words in a note. She glanced up once and just averted her gaze away from me, back to her laptop.

I released a prolonged breath as I walked in, dragging my bags, not caring if it disturbs them. I walked to the empty bed and slumped down. I was pretty sure the bed was mine because I knew only three people stayed in a room and their silence confirmed it, actually their silence does not necessarily confirms it.

I have always been told I was a weirdo but I never saw how, I knew I was different though. So right now, I have to live with weird people or even psychos. I stood up tiredly and hesitantly.

The remaining minutes or hour was spent arranging my things, and since I got here non of them had even said anything to me. Not like I care anyway. The red haired girl was already sleeping while the brown haired was still typing. I had my bath, changed my things and decided to collect my timetable. After collecting the timetable, all I want to do is sleep.
