The Vision

Pegasus's POV:

She brutally pulled me by my hair, the wrists, anything to get me out of the house.

And when I asked, Where are we going? I received the devil's palm instead.

As tears rolled down my face burning my cheeks, she shouted, "Shut up! I'm doing this for you!". Almost instantly, it began pouring down on us as the wind picked up.

When she got behind the wheel, not once did she turn to look at me, her face being unknown; she was the Woman In Disguise.

We briefly came to a stop at an uncommon black and white wooden shack. There was a bodyguard out front guarding the entrance, which gave me a sense of relief. Before I could enter, I heard a loud ringing in my ear, caused by my alarm clock on my nightstand.

I sat up wondering, 'How could I feel and think everything that She was?' I walked up in front of my mirror and noticed that I had bloodshot eyes. Was I crying in my sleep?

Entering the school was all an illusion; I was lost as I was still in my head. I even managed to pass Afyre straight.

" Forgetting my face already? Hadn't I made enough of an impression on you? " Afyre shouted from across the hall while approaching me. I just grinned and shook my head.

" How could I forget you, Duchess of Nowhere." I joked while bowing my head. I handed her my hand, and we locked elbows, arm in arm. Not forgetting Spectacles, I placed my arm gently around her shoulders .

Afyre, Eliizabeth, and I all take English together.

The English teacher Miss. Charlotte is 1.58 m tall; she always wears heels, which enhance her height. She's thick and dark-skinned.

We took our seats, and she began the class.

I tried my best not to drift off into a slumber; I didn't get the best sleep last night.

At the end of the day, Afyre pulled me away to the restroom.

"What's the matter with you? You haven't been yourself all day. And since when do you sleep in class?!" Afyre asked, very sternly acting as if she was any better than me.

I couldn't bear to tell her even though she looked really concerned. I felt lightheaded, so I instantly reached in for a hug because I knew exactly what was coming next.

As we were in that embrace, I burst into unexplainable tiers. 'It's happening,' I thought to myself. I was having another panic attack.

My palms began to sweat as my hands twitched. I did not know why this was happening; I could feel my heated blood rushing through my veins and making its way up to my brain.

It became incredibly hard to breathe as my chest tightened; I immediately grabbed my abdomen as I began gasping for air.

I broke out in cold sweat; my body fell limp and proceeded to shiver uncontrollably. I went from hot to cold.

I was conscious of my surroundings, which made this situation even worse. Why was this happening now? I thought that I had it under control, I thought that I already found the source of my problem, but I was wrong.

I had to think of happy thoughts, but I couldn’t. Why was that so hard to do?

Afyre was in full shock, and she tried her best to help me by holding me and putting water on my face. I wanted to tell her that I was going to be alright but nothing. I was unable to speak; it was like my vocal cords were swollen. I tried to take deep breaths but with no success.

My eyes began to wander around the room when they landed on Afyre's lustrous eyes. They were full of confusion and concern.

Her eyes were soothing; therefore, I closed my eyes while taking deep breaths. I needed to focus; I hated when people would worry about me.

When I finally calmed down, she looked down on me and me up at her. I straightened my face and said while trying to catch my breath,

" Water? Really? Did you want me to drown? It's as if the panic attack wasn't enough for you! "

I stared at her and she at me. I then burst out laughing, and she followed, not knowing why.

"You are forbidden ever to put water on my face when I'm having another one of those,"

"No, even better. Don't come near me at all, Nazi!" I added.

We were two fools rolling and laughing on the filthy bathroom floor.

When we were finished after a long minute, we got up off of the ground and dust off our clothes; when I looked in the mirror, there was a piece of toilet paper dangling from my hair.

“ When did you use toilet paper?”

“ I didn’t,” she said with a dumbfounded look upon her face, slightly turning red.

I looked back into the mirror and proceeded to scream at the top of my lungs, running out of the bathroom pulling Afyre along with me. We left the bathroom laughing as the center of attention. We walked to the cafeteria hand in hand without even noticing, and to be honest; I most definitely did not want to let go.

At the end of the day, we all went back to my place after asking Mom, of course.

The whole night, Afyre wanted to ask me about what occurred earlier in the afternoon, but she didn't have the courage.

We talked, watched a movie and talked some more, then suddenly we fell into complete silence.

Eliizabeth then broke the silence.

“ Ok, what’s going on between you two? It’s the first time that I’ve seen Afyre be this nice to anyone.”

Afyre and I locked eyes, and she was psychologically asking me if I wanted Spectacles to know.

I glared at her, and she got her response.

Afyre suddenly gets up and takes a seat next to Eliizabeth, caressing her face.

"There's a point in time where someone just wants to sit and chillax, and this is one of those times." She speaks in a guru's voice, quite amusing.

"You're always so very uptight. Take a chill pill once in a while, my dear." She says while staring me down. Eliizabeth swats her hand away and scoots an inch away, for they were prohibitively close. Her glare was making me uncomfortable, but I also had a funny feeling in my stomach. We started to watch another movie, and when we would accidentally lock eyes, I would immediately put my head down or act like I was watching something else.

I couldn't explain the feeling I had.

Halfway through the movie, I went to the kitchen to prepare another batch of popcorn and also to clear my head. My hands were on the counter when suddenly I felt a hand caressing my waist and stomach then proceeded to pull me toward them.
