Third person POV

Jude looked at him like he was crazy. They were still by the lake talking to each other. "So how are we supposed to find one" he asked Everest. Everest shrugged his shoulders. "Keep walking until we find a village and ask if they have one" he said.

Jude looked at him with an unamused expression. "If we go north we might run into a village" Everest said. He as traveled some, and knows where some places are. "Then what do we do then, keep knocking on doors until we find a coordinator?" Jude asked.

Everest looked right and left and put his bottom lip in his mouth. "Yea pretty much" he said looking back at Jude. Jude rolled his eyes annoyed "find lead the way captain" he said gesturing north. Everest smiled proudly and started walking.

Jude shook his head, but you could see a little bit of a smile ghosting his lips. He jogged to catch up with Everest until they were side by side again. "So do you have like this magical princess your supposed to marry" Everest asked jokingly.

"No" Jude simply said. "A priiiiiince" Everest asked excitedly, dragging out the i. Jude looked at him and actually laughed "no princes or princesses" he said with smile still on his lips. Everest pouted "but don't you wanna find looooove" he said dragging out the o and putting his finger near his face.

Jude slapped his hand out the way causing Everest to laugh. "Obviously I do" he suddenly said. Everest stopped teasing after that. "Then why don't you" Everest asked, serious this time. "My kingdom comes first" he said. That didn't sit write with Everest.

He was about to say something but was interrupted when he heard flapping. He turned around and smiled when he saw red coming back, but his smile quickly went away when he heard a buzzing sound. "Jude run!" He yelled as he turned around an ran.

Jude instantly got the memo and ran too. Red came flying down and flew fast behind them. Everest turned around to see behind him and noticed three drones chasing them. He turned back around and picked up the speed.

They ran up a mini hill and slid down it. Everest turned around taking his bow and arrow from behind his back and aiming. But before he could shoot the drone shot a red, beam like something at him hitting his wrist. He hissed and dropped the bow and arrow.

He looked at his wrist and saw it turn black, it burned like fire. He grabbed on to his wrist as tears pricked his eyes. Jude had ran back noticing something wrong. He crouched down next to Everest immediately noticing his wrist.

"When the fuck did they learn to do that" Jude cursed. He picked up his bow and out the arrow back on Everest's back. "Come on we have to run" he said. Everest nodded getting up, still clutching his wrist, and running.

The drones started shooting at them. They dodged just barely. They were doing surprisingly decent if it wasn't for the beam that grazed his foot causing him to fall and role on the floor. Jude turned to run back but quickly stopped when a drone was in front of him.

They both thought it was the end and they were doomed if it wasn't for a wooden spear cutting straight through one of the drones. Everest's eyes widened as he looked back and saw a old woman standing behind them holding two more spears.

She through both of them and both of the drones went down. Everest instantly stood up and went towards the woman. Jude however was very cautious of her, he didn't know her so he didn't trust her.

"Come on follow me"
