Coordinator

Third person POV

Everest and Jude looked at each other, suspicious of the old lady that just threw a spear through a drone. She turned back around looking at us raising an eyebrow. "Are you coming or what" the lady asked. Everest looked at Jude "she did just save are life" he shrugged.

Jude cocked his head to the side looking at Everest with a 'come on really' expression. Everest took his arm and brought him closer so he could whisper in his ear. "Look we have know idea where we are going, she might help us" he explained.

Jude looked at her warily. "Alright just stay by me at all times ok" he said more as a statement then a question. Everest nodded, red landing on his shoulder and pulled Jude along with him towards the woman. The woman then turned around allowing them to follow her.

She led them quite far until they were met with a small wooden house that had a mini farm beside it. She opened the door and went inside "come in" the old woman said disappearing inside the said house. Jude went first walking into the house with Everest behind him.

The inside looked as normal as ever. To the left was a door Everest assumed to lead to a room. there was two couches opposite of each other and there was a wooden table in the corner. It looked small but cozy cause the fire place was on.

The woman came from the door holding a cup of tea and two tea cups. "Sit down please" she asked. Jude and Everest looked at each other warily but sat down on the couch anyway. "I have questions for you two" said sitting down on the opposite couch.

"Especially to the girl" she said gesturing to Everest. Everest looked at her has if she had grown two heads. "I'm not a girl" he said calmly. She looked back up surprised but quickly composed herself. "Oh sorry for assuming" she apologized.

"It's ok I get that a lot" he said smiling at her. The woman nodded understandingly. She poured the tea in both tea cups and scooted them in front of Jude and Everest. "Now can one of you tell me why three robotic creatures are chasing you" she asked not amused.

"It's a long story" Everest smiled awkwardly. The woman just smiled. "I have time" she said. Jude frowned at her. "Yea well we don't" Jude stated coldly. Everest glared at him and slapped his arm, Jude glared right back. "We don't know her!" He screamed in his face.

"She saved are lives Jude" he argued back. Jude made a tsk sound, rolling his eyes and leaving out the front door. Everest sighed and looked at the lady with a sorry look "I'm sorry I'll be back" he stated before running out of the house.

He looked to the left and saw Jude leaning on the house looking at the sky. Everest smiled softly "you wanna tell me what's wrong" he said causing Jude to look at him. Jude sighed and looked at Everest straight in the eyes.

"I'm scared"

Everest eyes widened at the confession. He didn't expect someone like Jude to tell someone he barely knew that he was scared. "Of what" he decided to ask calmly. "I would be to late" he muttered. As he said that Everest's eyes glossed over.

"I'm scared that when I get back home, my kingdom will be in pieces" he explained further. Everest couldn't comprehend what he was feeling, he wanted to hug Jude, but at the same time wall on eggshells around him.

He walked closer to Jude deciding to go with the risky path. Even though what he was saying held so much emotion his face didn't show it. "I promise" Everest started causing Jude to look at him again.

"I promise we will get you help for you kingdom" Everest said with a firm voice. He took the risk as he grabbed Jude by the shoulders pulling him in, red now flapping beside him as he wrapped his arms around Jude's neck" "Your kingdom would be proud of you" he whispered into kids neck.

Jude was obviously surprised at this action, had he not liked hugging before. But he soon melted into the embrace as he wrapped his arms around Everest's waist, closing his eyes relishing in the warmth. It was nice.

Jude had stuffed his head into the crook of Everest's neck as tears pricked his eyes, falling down. Everest ran his hands through his hair comfortably. Jude pulled back as he wiped his tears, feeling pathetic.

"Stay out here and take a breather, I'll talk to her" he assured as Jude just nodded. Everest went back inside with red back on his shoulder to see the old lady still there but with medical supplies. The lady gestured to Everest's wrist. Everest nodded in understanding.

He sat down has the lady started patching his wrist up. She disinfected it before wrapping it around with a white soft medical cloth. She used silver pins to pin the ends of the cloth. When she was done he looked at his wrist sadly.

"For now I wouldn't use that hand" the lady said causing Everest to nod In understanding. Since they didn't have much time left he decided to get to the point. "We need a coordinator" he said. The lady looked at him with a blank face. "Why" she asked.

"We need to somewhere, but we need someone to translate the coordinates" he explained. He pulled out the coordinates and slapped it on the table. "Please if you have one or are one, help us" he pleaded.

"Please excuse what Jude said, but In his defense he's been through it and he's just scared" Everest said. The woman looked at him intrigued. "Ok" she said simply. He looked dumbfounded "what" he asked. "Ok" she repeated.

He jumped in the air screaming a loud yes. Before sitting back down giving her a quick thank you. The lady to his hand looking him in the eyes.

"No thank you"
