High

Third person POV

The woman had went back into the room on the left claiming to be translating for them. Everest wasn't worried if the place was hard to find, he knew places really well so he would find it. The woman had come back.

She showed them the place and told them they have to go to the center tree and they'll find the higher ups. By center tree she meant the biggest tree in the world which is at the center of the world. The higher ups are probably near their.

She also gave them a backpack full of food, water, and medical supplies. After all that Everest said his goodbyes and left the small house. He looked to his left and saw Jude still standing their, leaning on the house.

She held up the paper with the location on it "I got the location" she spoke causing him to look up. He smiled slightly but it quickly went away. "Good job hugs" he praised him nonchalantly. He looked at Jude confused by the nickname.

"Hugs?" He repeated, confusing clearly in his voice. Jude just shrugged his shoulders "you give good hugs" he said simply. Everest laughed at his unknown funniness. He stopped laughing when he realized something.

He looked on my shoulder to red and prayed red had what he wanted. He took the note out of the clasp and looked at, but his hope faded when he looked at it. It was still the same note he sent. He turned it around and showed Jude.

Jude hummed when he saw it "do you think she's dead" Everest asked. Jude just shrugged his shoulders. "I have no idea" he said. Everest was scared for her friend, he didn't know what happened to her.

After that little convo they headed our towards the tree. Good thing Everest lived near the middle of the earth, it was a bonus. As they walked and had conversation Jude kept calling him hugs. It's not like Everest minded it was just new to him.

Jude didn't look like the nickname giver type, but you know what they say. Don't judge a book by its cover. Red was on his shoulder the hold time they were walking. The woman gave him bird food so he was grateful, he didn't know how she came across it but she had it.

They came across a big village that was surrounding the tree. They went in it admiring the people and the food and houses. This village was quite big, rightfully so because it is surrounding the biggest tree in the world.

The tree reached above the clouds, its leaves leaving a big shadow over some of the village. Obviously there was a big wall blocking the tree so Everest does what he does best. He looked to the closet house to the wall and ran over.

He used his momentum to jump of the house to the wall grabbing the sides and pulling himself up. Jude followed Everest's actions getting himself up too. They looked and it looked pitch black cause of the huge shadow.

They both jumped down inspecting the tree to see if they see anything. Jude took Everest's hand to make sure they don't get separated. They walked forward until they felt their hand touch the tree. They both walked together to see if they fell something.

Everest almost screamed out in frustration if it wasn't for his hand pushing in on something. He pulled his hand away abruptly. He tugged on Jude's hand causing him to look over here. He pushed again but harder.

Suddenly a door opened up leading down some stairs. Both Everest and Jude looked at each other before looking back at the stairs. They both slowly went down still holding hands. When they got to the bottom their was a door.

Everest pushed it open and ...
