In another location, much like the location that Jane was in, an indeterminate amount of time ago.
A white figure that slightly pulsed with white light with no distinguishing features beyond being featureless levitated. Next to him was a group of figures who all looked drastically different from every other member of the group that was present.
The next person was a person with a slightly hunched back. A face far from resembling that of a human, in the place of human features was all bone, his head a skull. On his back was a curved scythe with a deceptively plain iron blade. His robes tattered and ancient.
On his side was a figure that resembled that of an angel. His platinum blond hair lasciviously draped down his back. White wings longer than that of a small house swung up and down, creating gusts of wind. A sickly-sweet smirk stared down at the other people present.
By him was a man with an outfit that would make sense in 1920s. Of the group, he resembled the previous person the most, with eyes that glowed with restrained mania. The cowl on his back rounded and pointed. His fangs sharper than a hunting knife, his lips pouting outward lightly in impatience.
On the other side was not so much a silhouette, as much as it was a lack of light. Most of the individuals present visibly tensed up ever slightly when he appeared.
There is not much to say about the fellow next to him. A generic human in a school uniform with black hair who appeared almost too happy to be there. Unlike the moment when the previous person appeared, everyone relaxed when he showed up. Nearly everyone.
A clearly female silhouette appeared next. She had eyes as blue as the sea. Her ears clearly showed that she was of, or related to elves. She had an outfit that screamed 'I love nature', green as grass, and a motherly disposition.
Following her appearance was another female.
More and more individuals made their way to the void. Eventually, there were about a thousand of such individuals.
Some were ordinary looking; others didn't even resemble anything even distantly related to the human form. Motes of energy, something that was basically only tentacles, a being made of crimson and gold pentangular shapes…
The last one to show up- or not show up rather, was a voice. This voice was gravelly but not merely deep. Oh no, it was able to permeate and cause everyone to shiver like needles were piercing every corner of their very soul when it was heard. "Everyone is present. Let us begin the discussion of the Sacred Princess."
When the Sacred Princess was mentioned everyone's, eyes were filled with fervor, and even those who prior to the mention of her that were calm, began to tremble.
After some time… in the void.
The man with the wings and platinum blond hair argued; "I think that the Sacred Princess should be given help this time."
Another argued who was a man bigger than a mansion, with muscles as large as cars. "The Sacred Princess is not yet ready. She should continue to…"
Someone else interrupted; "She has already done enough to prepare. Her soul is more than strong enough, and besides, she only tried to become stronger."
An individual responded to this statement; "You are leaving out how she tried to get stronger… She killed numerous huma-"
Before the interruption was able to last long, the figure with no features injected. "Are you doubting the Sacred Princess?" And they were only lower lifeforms that she killed. Who here hasn't killed a few thousand, I mean, million bugs?"
"No, I am not doubting her, I am simply saying she may need more time to prepare…" The large muscular man responded.
"She has prepared enough." The entity composed of white said. "And if something happens, we can always interfere directly." It continued.
"Though, your words have some truth. Getting help all of a sudden would be confusing and overwhelming. If we help her gradually in her next reincarnation this would make the process smoother." It went on.
"Let's vote on it. Who agrees that we should begin to help the Sacred Princess in her next Reincarnation… gradually?"
"Raise your hand if yes. Keep your hand down if no."
Sometime after the vote…
"It has been decided, 502 votes yes to 498 no, that we shall help the Sacred Princess in her next reincarnation. The next order of business is determining how we shall help her and who will get to help her first."
When everything had finally settled down, the void became filled with noise again.
…Finally, after a while, things became quiet once more.
"It has been determined that the Sacred Princess will be reincarnated as a Dragon Elf."
"Now, everyone, time to make the arrangements for her reincarnation."
As quick as they appeared, they disappeared.
Back at the womb...
Jane saw that she was being extradited from the womb. During the time that she was in the womb she learned a handful of skills and had even found more… or something. They just appeared a moment ago. Odd.
She would look into it later. She was busy being born…
Like that she was pulled from the womb, and gently passed over to the arms of her mother.
She looked around, and using the powers of deduction- er, actually the power of the status- really her titles, and what was around her she found out she would be living more than well off.
The room was spacious. The bed that her new mother was laying on was gaudy. Her mother, and her father were both wearing equally gaudy clothing. Unlike the clothing they wore, their appearances were stunning. Her father had a mane of red hair, eyes an icy blue. A masculine face with a five o'clock shadow. Her mother had a buxom figure, emerald green eyes and meadow green hair.
Seeing her parents, she felt that she had hit a jackpot in terms of background in this reincarnation, letting loose a bright smile. For some reason, her parents had a different reaction than she did.
