Chapter 4

His eyes were opening slightly while his head hurt a lot. Wei's environment was strange to him, it didn't seem like he was on his king-sized bed. His back hurts a lot as well.

`Where am I?

Eventually, his eye opened up and he now able to observe his present surrounding. It didn't look like his mansion or bedroom; he was tied up to a chair, and the room was so dark.

`Someone has kidnapped me?

The only thing he could recall was the party, drink, then blackout. He passed out after having five glasses of Devil's Springs Vodka, which was his favourite drink in the world; it has never happened before, so what changed.

`Was my drink drugged?

"Is anyone there?" Wei yelled in a loud voice. "Who dares tie me up?"

"I see you are awake." a female voice echoed around the room. "I will advise not to bother yelling at me cause it doesn't scare me."

Wei furrowed his brow. The voice wasn't familiar; it seemed almost like a woman's voice. "Who are you? Why did you bring me here?"

He could hear footsteps, and there were coming closer. The lights were on and his kidnapper was out on display. His eyes couldn't believe who he saw.

"Recognize me?" Chynna asked, her reed lips twitched a smile.

"Chynna," he said. "Are you my kidnapper?"

"Correct." she laughed.

Wei couldn't contain his laughter. "Okay, who are you working for? Is it Li Qiang or Wang lei?"

Chynna rolled her eyes. "I don't work for anybody. I kidnapped you by myself."

"Liar. I'm sure someone helped you a lady like you can't get access into my mansion." Wei smirked.

"Wang Chynna might not have been able to, but Zhang Mei can," she said. "I was at your place last night, disguised as a waitress. I'm the one who served your drink."

"You were the blonde lady with blue eyes, but you have brown eyes and black curly hair," Wei muttered. "That means you wearing a wig and contact lenses last night."

"Exactly." she chuckled. "It was so fun to drug your drink and when you fell face down on the floor, my heart leapt for joy."

Wei raised a brow at the woman who was standing in front of him. "Great job Chynna, but didn't you feel scared while doing this?"

"Scared." Chynna laughed. "I don't know."

"You are supposed to be scared of me, woman," he said.

"But I'm not." she grinned at him. "You are a mere human to me."

"I'm the Mafia Boss and I'm sure you know that," he smirked. "I leave people speechless every time. At the mention of my name, people run and you say I'm just a mere man to you."

She placed the knife close to his neck. "Out there you are The Mafia Boss but in here I'm the one and only Boss, you are a puppet in my hands."

Wei smirked. The knife was dangerously close to his neck but intended of being scared he felt amazed at the woman who was standing in front of him. He took the opportunity to study her, the brown eyes, black curly hair that looked so nicely kept, fair skin and plump red lips.

"That doesn't scare me a bit Chynna." Wei laughed as he looked into Chynna's eyes, what he saw was anger there was no sign of fear in them.

"I wasn't planning on scaring you, all I wanted to do is to show you who calls the shots here," she said, placing the knife on the table next to her. "If I kill you then my mission will be incomplete,"

Wei laughed again before testing the strength of the rope.

"Don't bother yourself, Wei, the ropes are strong and tight," she said. "You can escape."

"I'm impressed," Wei said. "I only thought women were only pleasure toys made to please man but it seems I was wrong."

Chynna rolled her eyes at him, she never wanted to do such a thing but desperate times call for desperate measure. "You are disgusting."

"How sweet of you," Wei said. "Your plan is foolproof but I want to know how you were able to get me out of my house."

"Easy!" she exclaimed. "I planned everything carefully, in order to get you out I drugged your drink so you can get intoxicated. I know that you would definitely go to the gardens in order to clear your head and you did."

"Okay but how exactly did you manage to get me here?" he inquired.

"I used the secret passage in the garden and it took me out of your house completely so neither your security cameras nor your bodyguards spotted me." Chynna chuckled. "It made me really happy to see your lump body on the floor."

"Oh really?"

"You bet!" she exclaimed.

"So what's your motive?"

Chynna smirked because she was sure he was aware of what she wanted but he wanted to play the innocent game. "Give him back what he rightfully deserves."

Wei looked at the lady in front of him, her word was so weird in his ears
