Slaughter

The sounds of footsteps tapping through the streets could be heard. Soon following these footsteps was the loud march of numerous men chasing after it with an onslaught of curses and insults.

It wouldn't make sense at first glance for these many men to chase after one boy, but Del had continuously managed to find ways to hinder and injure different gang members.

Finally a few minutes Del stopped randomly in the middle of the street. He turned around to the men who were now slowing down, gladly taking this break. They didn't seem to keen on stopping their advances though as they kept on walking towards Del. Del saw this and started to walk backwards.

Soon the trio had arrived and sas the group of men approaching Del and yelling. Allyssa had a worried look on her face. "He looks like he needs help. His style is fitted for one on ones and countering, a large scale battle would be difficult for anyone let alone him." Allyssa said as she grabbed the handle at the end of the sheathe along her waist. She started to walk forward, but then suddenly hesitated. Del had started walking towards the gang.

Del began walking towards the gang, an unwavering and domineering aura had come about him. He activated the Sulenet battle aura which quickly shrouded him.

A man from the gang approached Del as well, looking forward to beating Del himself. They approached each other and got into striking range quickly. What he didn't expect was Del to strike so quickly and fiercely, cutting the man off with a high speed jab. The man staggered back and closed his eyes.

"Huh? That didn't even h-" The man was cut off by the bottom of a boot making contact with his face and pushing him so roughly that he fell straight into the ground. Upon impact with the floor he was knocked out.

A scroll appeared in front Del's vision which was quickly dismissed. Del was in a Muay thai stance, his left leg bouncing in front of him while his hands were by his face and his body facing straight. Del then moved onto the next person who attempted to strike Del with a punch as well. Del quickly through out a quick jab followed by him stepping forward and delivering a powerful elbow dislocating the mans jaw.

Del saw in his peripheral vision another man trying to move behind him. Del pivoted his foot and bounced off of it, delivering a knee to the face with his rotation.

Allyssa looked on to the battle in shock. Del in fact had a wide repertoire of skills with direct force. With every punch, knee, and elbow it sounded as if bone was crushing against bone, and every push kick accompanied by a harsh thud.

What surprised Allyssa most was his ability to scan the field while performing at the same time. He was able to attack and put himself into position without mistakingly putting himself into a detrimental spot. Even when he would get hit he would do so in a way that the damage was minimal. It was almost as of he weren't getting hit at all.

Nask and Christian were both also in awe of the battle, but not because of all the observations like thay of which Allyssa made. All they thought was thay Del was a good fighter.

Del saw a glint of something fly by. He popped backwards as the glint went across where his stomach had been. He saw the man holding it had a knife. He glanced around and saw several more glints. They definitely wanted to kill him now.

That's a good excuse right?

The first man with a knife tried to jab it at Del. Del side stepped with a deflecting hand against the mans wrist. Del then grabbed the wrist and twisted it, causing the knife to fall out. Del grabbed it with his other hand before quickly bringing it up and then down it the mans arm. Del pulled it out and turned around.

A man behind Del also tried to jab the knife into him. Del quickly responded with a kick that pushed the man back. Del quickly stepped forward and jab the knife into the man's neck.

All three of the trio gasped. The scene had suddenly become brutal. Just a moment ago Del was fist fighting, but now he was stabbing them right, countering anything weapons that sought after him.

The battle constantly became more violent as the men became angered by the bloody slaughter.

Del though, seemed almost unfazed. He wasn't as bothered as ome should be. Each and every cut made on him was ignored and followed by a lethal slash or stab of his own. His eyes were cold, not thinking twice about the deaths of these men.

After what seemed like an eternity the battle had finally calmed down. All that stood left was Del, huffing heavily as blood ran down his body.

"Please please, I understand now! We won't bother you again!" A man with a heavy beard said pleadingly.

Some men were still alive, some only barely. Del didn't even seem to hesitate. He straddled the man and held up the knife above his head.

Swoosh...

The knife was brought down. It didn't reach it's target, only being stopped by a hand. "It's time to go Del." The voice of Allyssa said. She had grabbed Del's arm. She found it surprisingly easy, finding almost no resistance. Del turned his head to lool at her. Their eyes met and it was held there for a few seconds. Del dropped the knife.

"Right..." He said as he stood up. The man he was about to kill had fainted from the pressure he had felt.

The trio made their way back to the room Nask stayed in eventually. Del cleaned himself up while the other two left. They felt it better that Del prepare to head back instead of going immediately.

Eventually Del was sitting in a chair, resting. Across from him was Nask.

"Why did you kill them like that?" Nask asked plainly.

Del looked at him for a few moments silently before speaking "It was a necessity."

"It didn't seem very necessary. It seemed more like you wanted to kill them." Nask responded.

"Not everyone has time to be heroic." Del said as he started to rise from his chair.

"We can at least try." Nask said as he watched Del rise.

"The world will always have enough heros. I'll just be myself. But who am I to stop you. If you are so passionate, then go be a hero, necromancer" Del said as he walked to the door, finishing just before leaving the room.

Nask was left alone with himself in the silence of the room. He couldn't tell of Del was avoiding confrontation or if he really didn't care. "Interesting" Nask softly said as his lips parted.
