Next morning Ice woke up for her jogging routine as usual, after putting her track suit on she grabbed a bottle of chilled mineral water, her headphones and walked out of her room. She checked the door twice making sure it's properly locked and no one could enter here in her absence as that painting was still in there. Just a moment later she heard a door clicking open, it was from room 404 on her left.
A familiar man appeared behind the door, it was none other than Robinson Dafoe. Because of her IQ level she could easily assess that it couldn't be a mere coincidence.
"Oh, miss Blue? What a coincidence." Rob said with an excited expression on his face.
Just as she knew he would use that old pick up line and a surprised look to hide up the fact that he made all these arrangements intentionally. What he didn't consider was that Ice isn't dumb like most of other women.
"Yes, quite a coincidence." She replied with an emphasis.
"By the way good morning." Hiding the embarrassment he could have felt, he greeted her.
"Morning." She replied with a straight face, showing no delight whatsoever.
Getting such a cold response in return his shoulders drooped as well as the smile on his face.
He asked, "Miss Blue did I offend you somehow?"
"No, you didn't, but right now you are wasting my time." She firmly answered.
She wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible, but he was quite persistent.
"Oh." With a slight pause, he said. "Are you going for a morning walk?"
"Yes." She replied knowing full well what question was coming up next.
"If you don't mind may I join you? This way I won't waste your time." He asked advertently.
Moving towards the lift she answered him, "Do as you wish."
He hurriedly followed after her, entering the elevator just before its doors were about to be closed. There was an awkward silence surrounding him, as they were the only one in the elevator where Ice had her ear pods plugged-in. To ease himself up he took out his phone and started scrolling his social media, unknowns to him that Ice has been watching his every move.
As a new notification pops up on his phone, his face expression changes which made Ice curious about it. From the sidelines she read the message that says, 'Don't forget, game is not over yet'.
For a minute he just stared at his phone with an annoyed expression and then turned it off putting it back in his pocket.
Returning his attention toward Ice he was mesmerized by her simple yet astonishing aura and beauty, there was something magnetic about her which he couldn't quite figure out yet. She was just standing there with her eyes closed seemingly enjoying the music, somehow effortlessly attracting people around her. Just then the elevator door opens interrupting his thoughts.
Ice walks out of the elevator followed by Rob. Then she makes her way to the hotel's garden, reaching there she starts jogging after few warm up exercises, being fully aware of the gaze that has been watching her every move.
As Rob watched her doing stretches he had an urge to rush over and hide her in his arms, so that no one would be able to see her mesmerizing beauty. He wanted tell the world that she belongs to him but alas! he couldn't do so. She doesn't really belong to him. He joined her afterwards, when she started running alongside the spring blooms. That moment was breathtaking for him, he wished if time could stop at this moment forever.
"Will you allow me to have breakfast with you? I have something important to tell you." He asked while trying to keep up with her pace.
After being silent for few seconds, she said " Ok."
Her response took him by surprise causing him to stop amidst his tracks . He wasn't expecting her to agree so easily, he had already braced himself for being rejected again. He stood there dumbfounded before coming back to his senses. Whereas there weren't any sign of emotions on her face whatsoever. No one can decipher what she had in her mind.
