Doom

"No. No, you can't. Please don't disturb me again." The girl annoyingly waved them to leave.

"You do know this is a cafeteria right?" Liam's veins popped.

"And so?"

'This b*tch!' Liam gritted his teeth. This was the first time he's been annoyed by a girl.

Azrael on the corner couldn't help but giggle. This was exactly what he felt whenever he spoke with Liam.

"We won't disturb you. We'll just eat quietly." Liam held his anger.

"There's plenty of seats there. Why not go somewhere else?" The lady didn't even face Liam and continued snuggling her head in her arms.

"There's no other open seat anywhere. This is the only place with remaining seats."

"Hey, kid, I'm a bit busy at the moment. Will it be alright if I ignore you right now?"

Liam was speechless. Busy? You're sleeping on a dining table for god's sake.

"Not too many people like you, huh." Liam sighed.

"Umm. Thank you," she simply said.

"You're welcome. Now shove your tiny ass a bit, our bigger butts need to sit."

The lady suddenly lifted her head. She gazed at Liam and Azrael's butt then commented, "You guys have a flat ass. Why the hell are you bragging about it?"

"Uh-huh, yeah, but not as flat as your chest." Liam similarly gazed at the lady's chest that was flat as paper.

"What's wrong with you? You're so persistent." The lady yawned.

"Don't tell me...?" The girl slowly raised her head and stared at Liam.

"Are you hitting on me?"

Liam vomited blood.

Four hours ago...

Four people were on a flying helicopter. Judging by their build, unique atmosphere surrounding them, and costumes, they were obviously Heroes.

They were sent by the Heroes' Association to deal with the unknown Villain they detected.

They were sure he was Villain because the aura they detected was not from the registered Heroes and Villains index.

And the possibility that he or she was a newly awakened superhuman was impossible. The anomaly they detected wasn't rampant or chaotic. Instead, it was steady and dominating.

Normally a new awakened can't control the power they have, that's why they can't control the aura they released.

And a well-controlled aura signaled that he or she can already control his or her newfound powers.

If there was an off chance that he was on the good side. Then they can recruit him.

"Prepare for combat. This guy is an unknown Villain." A middle-aged man with a huge build like Crimson stated.

He wasn't wearing any upper clothes. His huge chest and well-defined abs were a sight for everyone. His huge legs were so wide and long that you can't help imagining what those things can do.

The three people behind him nodded.

One was a girl with a red and white costume on. She has a cape behind her and was floating in mid-air. A unique antenna was cutely tingling on her head. Her short stature and juvenile face gave her age away. She was definitely younger than Liam.

The remaining two were both men.

The first one has a tight-fitting blue suit on his thin body. He was thin and tall. His face was covered entirely by his suit. Leaving only his eyes, nose and mouth exposed.

The last one was the most eye-catching. He was wearing a simple hoodie. But all of his skin and face were deep red in color. He resembled an ordinary delinquent you can see in the street, except for the red skin.

"Mister Granite, will this mission end fast?" Coral, the little girl, asked.

"With all of us combined, we can even defeat a Rank A Villain! " Scorch, the red-skinned man laugh. A flame appeared on his hoddie, yet the cloth didn't burn.

"Don't be overconfident. The association said the aura earlier was above Rank B. It might even be higher." The thin man warned his team.

"Tsk. You're always dreary. By the way, I never saw you smile huh." Scorch smacked his shoulder.

"Elastiman has always been gloomy." Granite similarly smacked Elastiman's shoulder, making the latter fall from the helicopter.

"Opps."

"Anyways, let's finish the mission fast. The target is just below us." Granite whistled and jumped from the aircraft.

Scorch and Coral followed his lead.

Granite dove in insane speed, the air pressure didn't affect him in the slightest.

"There you are."

He saw Elastiman falling helplessly on the side. He grabbed him forcefully and shouted.

"Do that thingy!"

"What thingy?" Elastiman shouted back.

"Turn into a parachute. Hurry." Granite cackled.

"I hate you."

"I know."

When they were about to reach the ground, Elastiman's body started changing. He became thinner and thinner. While his width grew wider and wider. His suit similarly stretched and didn't tear off.

Within a matter of seconds, he transformed into a parachute. This was his unique power, Elasticity, hence his name.

Scorch unleashed fire from his feet and used it as a sort of propeller. He flawlessly glided in the air.

Coral already possessed a levitating ability. So she simply free fall, unafraid of hitting the ground.

They entered the museum by falling from the destroyed roof, instantly landing in front of the enemy.

The establishment was already ruined from the fight earlier. Seeing the chaos, the group could somehow estimate this superhuman's strength.

"Finally, breakfast has arrived." Crimson, who was waiting for them, licked his lips.

Granite raised an eyebrow. Both he and Crimson have similar physiques. His inner self detected a competition.

"Breakfast? Are you senile, old man?" Scorch poke fun at the guy.

Crimson replied using his fist. In a flash, he dashed in front of them. His hunger was reaching its limit. He wanted to eat them now.

"Feisty, I like it!" Granite headed straight to his opponent. Clenching his fist he punched the dashing Crimson in the face.

Crimson responded with a fist of his own. Both their fists meet each other.

*Boom*

A loud sound emerged from the clash. Intense winds were also generated from both their power.

"Arghh!" Granite's desperate shout echoed in the room.

When the smoke slowly cleared up, horror was painted on the Heroes' faces. What they saw made Scorch pee his own pants.

Granite was standing there on his own puddle of blood. His left arm broke and was torn off.

Crimson's claw acted like a skewer and held the poor man's arm. He opened his mouth and took a bite from it.

"It's worth the wait!" He smiled creepily and slowly approached the despairing Granite.

"Run away! RUN!" Granite yelled in distress. His impending doom was apparent. Death was just in the corner.

However, Heroes were heroes. Their so-called justice was telling them to save Granite.

Unyielding was a good thing. But in this situation, this stubbornness was pure stupidity.
