Massacre

Coral hurriedly summoned a forcefield around Crimson to restrict his movements.

"Scorch!" She shouted.

Scorch dashed towards Granite. His whole body was in flame.

"A forcefield? You think you can constrain me with just this?" Crimson disgustingly stared at Coral.

Forcefield Espers were common. But Coral seemed to focus her forcefield manipulation on defense and restricting enemies rather than for attacking.

But she was just a Rank B Hero. Two grades lower than him. In his eyes, she was just like an insect he can easily squash.

Crimson inhaled a huge amount of air. His tummy and mouth were bloated. But unlike earlier, his stomach was bloated four times bigger than before.

*ROAR!*

The forcefield shattered without any difficulty. His sound attack destroying everything on its path.

His soldiers were already prepared and wearing protective earpieces. Yet, Crimson's sound attack penetrated the earpiece, reaching their brains. Making all of their heads explode simultaneously.

The Heroes struggled to protect themselves. Coral continuously summoned miniature forcefields in their ears. She was doing her best to preserve her stamina but to no avail.

These mini forcefields shattered within seconds. Coral's nose bled from overusing her abilities.

"I can't hold on any longer!" Coral shrieked.

Granite gritted his teeth. They greatly underestimated his strength. They thought he was at least a Rank A superhuman.

All along he was one of the extraordinary Rank S superhumans. Within this country, only twelve Rank S Heroes were registered. And another six Rank S villains were known. Who thought there was still one hiding here.

Finally, Crimson finished his attack. He rubbed his stomach with a dissatisfied expression.

"It's so exhausting holding back." He picked his nose nonchalantly. Treating this battle as child play.

"Elastiman! Take Coral and Scorch away from here! I'll take this guy's attention." Granite ordered with a resolute voice.

He specifically begged Elastiman because he was the most rational among the group. They should finally realize what kind of monster Crimson was.

Elastiman gritted his teeth. And with a distorted face, he replied.

"Roger."

He stretched his hands and grabbed the bleeding Coral and the Scorch who was shaking uncontrollably.

"Let me go!" Coral bit Elastiman's arm that coiled her petite body.

"And what? Die with Captain? Do you think you can save him? You're literally exhausted and defenseless. Just shut up and pray Captain can last long or we will all die!" Elastiman snapped and shouted. His saliva flying everywhere.

He dismissed the thought that Granite could escape alive. Just a single clash and his Captain's arm was already torn apart.

"But... Captain will die." Coral wept.

"He died for us. He died for you. Remember his sacrifice, we must escape this place." After saying that he stretched his body like a ball, covering him, Coral and Scorch from the concentrated gunfire from the thugs outside the museum.

The military hasn't arrived yet. And the Heroes' Association only sent them, thinking the enemy was just someone who could be defeated easily.

"F*ck!" Elastiman's suit act as both a bulletproof vest and shock absorber. But he began to feel the pain from the continuous bullets.

"You do know that you'll die right?" Crimson proceed to walk towards Granite.

"Dying on duty is an honorable act." Granite replied with a resolute face. But his body couldn't help but back off unconsciously.

Nobody could deny the fear of death. You only live once. After you die, there was no second chance.

"Honorable act? Bullshits. You'll die for somebody else sake? Foolishness." Crimson frowned.

He raised his claw and brandished it at Granite's head.

"I won't make the same mistake again." Granite murmured.

'Granite Conversion!'

His body gradually transformed. His skin became darker. Rock spikes appeared on his pores.

"A Transmutation Specialist." Crimson raised an eyebrow.

Transmutation was the power to turn into a new non-living form. The most common one was only transforming one part of the body into a new object characteristic. Turning one's arm into a metallic object fall in this category.

Crimson's claws were stopped by Granite's remaining arm. Sparks were generated from it. And a shallow cut appeared on Granite's hand.

'Even with this he still packs a blow' Granite sighed.

He raised his spiky foot and aimed it at Crimson's balls.

However, the Beast dodged it flawlessly. Jumping back a couple of meters.

"I won't fall for the same trick again." He snickered.

"Since you'll die anyway, I guess I can show you how powerful I am." Crimson started glowing.

His slick golden hair and golden beard became a mane. His mouth transformed into a snout. His hands and feet turned into paws.

"Bestial Metamorphosis!" Granite gaped.

Unlike Transmutation, Metamorphosis was the power to turn parts of the body into animal characteristics.

There were a ton of different kinds of metamorphosis. The most common ones were transforming one part of the body into some kind of beast.

But transforming oneself into a beast completely was the hardest transformation to do.

Rank A Metamorphic Heroes could only change at least half their body. Only Rank S individuals like Crimson could accomplish this.

A majestic lion appeared where Crimson was earlier. Its majestic appearance and the deadly glare made Granite shiver in fear.

Its height was about four meters. And a human-like expression was painted on its face.

"After I devour you, I shall savor the fleeing sheeps later. What you're doing right now isn't an honorable act." The lion spoke.

"Do you know what it's called?" It asked.

"It's called idiocy." Crimson roared and jumped in the air. Aiming to pounce at Granite.

Granite prepared for the worst. He also jumped into the air. He put all his remaining stamina into his remaining hands. His body lost the rocky characteristic. But in exchange, his right arm became a five-meter spike.

Granite's huge spike arm directly hit the Lion's head.

'I won!' He shouted loudly in his mind.

But his smile immediately vanished. His arm wasn't damaging the lion's skin. Instead, cracks appeared on his arm.

'I'm dead!' That was Granite's last thought.

Crimson broke Granite's arm by doing absolutely nothing. His defense capabilities were off the charts.

He swiped his claws at the huge man. Obliterating Granite's body. Blood, guts, and brain matter were scattered in the environment.

Crimson sucked his claws with Granite's head on it. A huge amount of drool fell from his huge mouth.

"This isn't enough." He turned his head where the remaining Heroes fled.

The lion bent its legs. Muscles and veins appeared from his gigantic legs.

And with a whoosh, he sprinted towards where Elastiman was heading.
