Chapter 33.

•Y/N POV•

"So, tell me, L/N F/N, how did you manage to be the special one? The one who has two quirks. The one who manages to get a villain on a leash."

"What are you talking about?" I demanded while shifting my weight to lean my back against the door, staring directly at the pitch-black darkness. I couldn't see anyone, just a dark silhouette.

"I'm interested in you and Overhaul. Your relationship is quite special, isn't it? You own something nobody else does. You own the heart of a soulless monster and own two quirks that offer limitless potential." I could hear him leaning forwards in his chair, creaking slightly under his weight.

"Who are you?" My voice shook, blood dribbling down my chin and tapping onto the floor. The splat as it landed echoed across the concrete room, due to the utter silence the man offered.

"Who am I, is a good question... and one I am not willing to answer just yet. First, you need to provide me with answers."

Is this a game he is trying to play with me? A game that simply provides entertainment for him and provides me with everlasting queries. I will need to play on if I want answers.

"Fine. I didn't even know I had two quirks until now, but as for your other question... I don't know what to tell you. We just clicked and got together." The breathiness in my voice was a deaf giveaway that the pain within my body was overpowering. I couldn't last without at least some medical attention.

"Hmmm." He let out a loud chuckle, and then the creakiness of his chair was back. Footsteps then echoed around the small, concrete room. "You wanted to know who I was."

And who he was?

Hawks.
