Years rolled by and Edna seem to have gotten over Rex. She came out of a storehouse which was just outside the house she had bought some years back. She made the house feminine enough for any guy to realise that she had built the house to her own taste. Every part of the house was painted with white both the inner and outside part. The storehouse was painted in pink which was light enough to match the color of the house. It also seem to be painted in a crazy_like way because the painting on the wall were like those street paintings made on the wall with a spray can.

"Where are the cartons?" Edna shouted from where she stood then suddenly a girl of about 16 forced her way out through the door and walked with grace through the stairs that led to the smooth surface of the ground with her ponytail hair swinging from the sides of her left to right and her hazel eyes matching the radiance of the sun.

"Here you go mom" Olly said in a more excited tone

"We need to clean the storehouse right now" Edna said, collecting the boxes from Olly as she trotted behind her

They spent hours cleaning up the storehouse and felt weary by the time they were done

"Olly?" Edna called in a tired voice

"Yes mom" Olly replied

"Can you pull my arms for me please" Edna asked

"I was about to tell you ask you the same mom" Olly replied back

You're so naughty, Edna said as she stood up and dragged Olly to her feet

They went inside their apartment and had a shower. By the time Olly was done, she heard her mom saying, "lunch is ready". She put on a white sneakers which matched her white crop top with a white trouser long enough to cover the exposed part of her stomach. Her mom on the other hand, wore a white feathered slippers with a round neck top and a pantaloon.

They sat on the dining chairs and ate silently facing each other.
