First day at school- Part 2

LOUIS

I was jogging out of the school's compound when a cutie mistakenly bumped into me. She was about to fall but I quickly helped her maintain her balance.

She looked up at me and immediately released herself from my grip.

"Err... Thanks" She said

"My pleasure. And I'm Louis" I replied, stretching out my hand towards her for a handshake.

"Actually I'm getting late here because I need to submit these files" She quickly left not looking back so as not to meet my stares

I continued staring at her as she left before jogging out.

OLLY

I took my time to view the whole environment and most importantly in search of the principal office. The school was so large, there was a fountain at the middle of the college. Flowers like ivy, thistle, chrysanthemum and poppy flowers added to the beauty of the school. I walked into the wide entrance of the school building and i saw some students gisting, playing, laughing while some were just walking. The students didn't seem to have noticed my presence or maybe they had but just decided to mind their business. I turned to my right and headed to one of the corners praying in my mind that I should be in the right place and just as if God had heard my prayers, I saw a poster which read "Poppy's office". I saw a staircase leading up to wherever I cared it might take me to then I heaved a sigh of relief and knocked twice. I heard a feminine voice urging me t come in. I stepped in and Poppy looked up from where she sat using her left hand to press her spectacle down to the bridge of her nose. I walked up to her and greeted,

"Morning ma'am"

"Yes, what can I do for you?" Mrs. Poppy asked

"My mom; Edna by name, told me to deliver this file to you. Actually, today's my first day here at Frazer College and this file contains the information you'll need about me". I stretched the file to her with both hands and she received it. She brought out a form and looked at it closely

"Your name?" She asked

What a dumb question, isn't it there in the form or is her glass deceiving her?

"It's Olly ma'am, Olly Madeline" I replied her

"And your age?" She asked dumbly

"I'm 16" I replied back then she asked me if I was certain. Hello! Do I look like I was joking either? I thought within myself trying to hide my irritation as hard as I could.

"Yes, absolutely sure" I replied and pursed my lips a bit

"Okay then. This school is more of like an Academy than just a College and most students prefer calling it Frazer Academy, I hope you'd like this place a lot and try as much as possible to stay out of trouble, okay?" She advised

"Alright ma'am" I replied after her blabbering.

Who cares if it's a College or an Academy anyway..
