Chapter 11

When Ash entered the palace, some people, which were obviously working here, gaced at him with a confused look. "Who is that?" "Why is a human here?" whispered some of them. Ash ignored them, he simply walked towards the thronhall and waited behind the doors.

Arkron, who guided Ash, stood by his side and watched him closely. "Sooo, these chains, what is their story?" he asked nervous. Arkron had noticed how fast Ash had broken free from them and he started to think that Ash was a former criminal.

"The chains hmm? That's what your intrested in? Okay, let me think. I was once kidnapped and tortured, simply because i was born."

"..."

"..."

"Your majesty is waiting for you." said a guardian and broke the silence between Ash and Arkron. Arkron stepped inside and Ash walked behind him.

"Tell me Arkron Blackhound, why did you bother to ask for an audience?" the king questioned. He was infact a wolf-type-demi with white fur and blue eyes.

"I wanted to take an apprentice, your majesty."

His majesty looked somewhat serious. "You want to take an apprentice? I think most of the guardiens are qualified and honored to be your apprentice, i will allow it."

However, Arkron started to speak again, while Ash was nervously starring at the guardiens comming closer.

"Your majesty, i wanted to ask you as well if this human ca..." The king interupted him. "Could you please tell me why you brought him here?"

Arkron then began to tell his majesty the story.

The king didn't say anything for a moment, then he looked at Ash. "What do you see when your are looking at ..." the king didn't finish his sentece, when he saw Ash laying at the ground with a wolf on his back. It wasn't hard to tell that both of them were sleeping. The king watched at them for a moment and then he stood up. He sneeked up to them with a little smile on his face.

"Wake up." said a smooth voice near his ear. Ash, felt something fluffy and immediatly grapped the body and squeezed it softly. In a blink of an eye, Ash started to cuddle with this fluffy thing and feel in a deep sleep.

Arkron starred at Ash. The king, who had obviously tried to wake Ash up, was no cought between Ashs arms. Arkron could tell that Ash wouldn't wake up soon and his majesty, who hadn't expected this, didn't even try to move. However, the expression of his majesty changed from shock to an unknown expression. The king didn't try to shake of Ashs arms, instead he ordered his servants to leave the hall.

"Your majesty, should i go as well?" Arkron whispered. "First, can you tell me how old this human is?" his majesty ask. "He told me that he is at the age of eight. Is that a lot?" Arkron answered. "No, infact, an eight year old is in human society like a puppy. They aren't even in their teens. How can it be that the human king is so reckless with these kids?" Arkron starred at his majesty. "This kid isn't even old enough to whield a weapon!?"

Some time later, Ash opened his eyes. It took him some time to realise where he was. He got up and looked around. 'Weren't they just talking? Wait, why is the thron empty?' Ash then noticed something next to him. His eyes went wide and in no time, someones hand covered his mouth. "Calm down." Arkron whispered in his ear. "Just lay down again and wait till his majesty wakes up again." Ash starred at his majesty. 'Holy sh*t, did i realy cuddle the king while sleeping?' he thought.
