Chap 06

SHE was so busy painting the outside of the house with Oscar and the three more men when Oscar's phone ring and he excuse himself from them. When he told her about the style that he wanted for his house, she tried to draw some furniture designs that she thought would fit into the theme and showed it to him. He said that it will be perfect and she got what he wanted to she let her do the personalization in some furniture shops. Luckily, she found a free furniture shop that can work the furniture's within a week or so.

"Bella, I have to go to the mainland, first. Could you handle this alone?" Oscar asked when he returned and removed the apron he was wearing.

"Sure."

"And don't forget to have your lunch later again." He said before he left. Sometimes, when she's too focus on her work, she forget to eat, not until her stomach grumbles. And when she started working with Oscar, he's always asking him to eat with him because she forgot her time again.

Those times where the times they were okay, but sooner or later, he will just scold her or raise a voice on her for she don't know the reason why. Plus, he was the only one who calls her 'Bella'. Not her name Isabelle or her nickname 'Ysa'. He call her 'Bella'.

"Ysa, I told you boss Oscar is into you." One of the three men, Max, teased her.

The three always aid that boss Oscar acts different with her. That he's strict when it comes to them. But Ysa knew that it's because he just burrowed her service from his brother, and he needed her help. But he just let them tease her.

"Let's just continue painting, shall we?" She just answered and smile at them.

It's her second day staying at the island. There was stock in the cabin where she's staying but Oscar told her to just go and eat at the restaurant anytime, but she only did that during dinner. She can cook her breakfast anyway, and at lunch, she's eating with Oscar, although at first, she's uncomfortable eating with him, but eventually, she's used to it.

"Ysa, where will we paint next?" Max asked again after they finished painting the second floor of the big house.

"Start on the right side, part where the molar will be drawn."

Oscar actually doesn't want them to call her just her name, because he said that he's the designer, so, they must address her Miss or ma'am. But she doesn't want that because she's not used to be called like that. So, he told them that they can just call her by her name when Oscar is not around.

They needed to finish the paints before the furniture's come. Plus, they also needed to buy curtains and other things for the house. She wanted to finish everything before the she return to FerArD, although Oscar told her that she didn't need to, as long as she helped him for that one month. But still… the amount of money he paid for Dustin is not just a small amount. That's the least she could do to pay its worth.

"Bella!" She immediately turn to see Oscar and look at her confused.

"Sir, I thought you went to the mainland?"

"I did and it's already past 2 in the afternoon. Max you didn't eat yet?" Oscar asked seriously.

That's when she checked her wristwatch. Looks like she forgot about her time again. Max actually said they'll go to lunch a while ago and she just nods at them. She said she'll just finish that part and she'll follow but she forgot about it again.

"You know, you should set your alarm next time. Follow me at the nearby cottage in five minutes." He said with authority and left. She just followed him with her gaze.

"I'm sorry, Ysa, boss Oscar asked us when he came back." Max came to him when Ocsar was no longer in view.

"Why did you tell him that I didn't ate yet." She just said but removed the apron she's wearing and the hand protects too.

"Are we going to lie to him? Just look how intimidating he was."

"Ysa, boss was always concern about you. We can't lie to him when it comes to you." Mang Peping added.

That's one of the things that confuse her. All of the people, or employee at the resort told her that Oscar was asking if she really did ate, like checking if she lied or not. And that made them question their relationship, like heck, they have one. He's just her part-time boss.

"Just go back to work, guys. I'll follow that grumpy man. He might come back and scold us here again."
