The sky lightened up a little the next day. The dark grey that had settled over the past few days had started to disappear but the rain had not stopped. It continued to wet the streets and overflow roadways with the land long having had its fill of it.
Once again while walking down the stairs Jin caught sight of Chandler glaring at him, this time she touched her wrist, where a watch should be sitting. Jin sighed knowing that it was Thursday today. He had to get it through to Grey today that Chandler liked him and somehow get him to like her so that he would be able to ask her out tomorrow, before the weekend. While in this thought process once again he failed to hear George's comments and Ana's greeting, continuing to walk to where Grey was standing.
George stared at Jin walking away. "What the hell is with him?" he said angrily.
Ana joined his gaze. "I don't know… he seems to be looking very troubled recently..." She said, the worry in her voice was clear to everyone around her.
Nate realized he had to do something. "Ahahaha don't worry about him, he's always like that… right Mohammad?" he said looking to Mohammad for help.
"Yeah… I would not worry about Jin Lane, he is always thinking to himself, Ha! Ha! Ha!" Mohmamad replied sternly.
HE CAN'T LIE!!!!! Nate's jaw dropped as he grabbed his head in agony.
Ana looked at the two of them and squinted her eyes realizing something was not right here.

"So, what do you see today?" Jin asked Grey.
The two were standing in the same spot as yesterday, looking into the sea of people in front of them.
"All the guys who are talking with the pretty girls are all focused on them, but are very nervous while the girls are always paying attention to other guys in the area and are faking enjoyment." Grey said coldly.
He turned his head towards Jin, there was visible pain on his face. "Is this what you always see?" Grey asked in concern.
"Yeah… most of the time…." Jin replied, keeping his attention towards the sea of people.
"Oh, I talked to Chandler the other day." Grey said out of nowhere.
"Really?" Jin asked, his happiness was almost gushing out of himself but he controlled it, "How'd it go?"
"She really seemed to be enjoying spending time with me, and I had a lot of fun with her… we talked until like 8 in the parking lot then until 10 when we got home… It was fun..." Grey said with a smile.
Jin turned to look at Grey. "So what do you think of her?" Jin asked.
"She's a great pers-"
"I'm talking about romantically." Jin stopped Grey.
"To be honest, after thinking back to all the times before I think she and another person are the only people who genuinely like me for who I am instead of you know for popularity." Grey said.
Jin raised an eyebrow and squinted a bit at the mention of this other person. (The way Grey spoke about her it doesn't seem like she came in the past… I hope this doesn't cause too much of a problem) he thought to himself.
"It would be great if either of those people would go out with me, and after talking with her for such a short amount of time yet clicking so well I would hope for Chandler but we'll see how today goes." Grey said.
The entire conversation was setting off red flags in Jin's mind but with Grey talking so vaguely he couldn't really understand what he was trying to say. After thinking about it and watching Grey he couldn't find anything and decided to talk to him about it after school, though he had an idea what direction this was going in. He hoped it wouldn't turn out that way.
"I see, well, maybe your wish will come true." Jin gave a devilish smile before heading off towards class waving to Grey as he walked off.
