Isabel

BEEEEEEEEP!!!!!! The terrifying dismissal bell rang, signaling the end of school.

"AHHHH!!! Time to go home and play some video games!!!!" Nate yelled while stretching.

"Nope, we have to go help Jin today, remember?" Mohammad said while packing his bag and standing up.

Nate grabbed his belongings and stood up. "AH! I forgot about that man!" Nate said as the two of them headed for the door.

They got outside and started making their way towards the commons when they were stopped by three individuals. A look of surprise and horror crawled onto their faces as they saw who it was.

"Going somewhere?" Ana asked, on right and left were Nate and Mohammad's girlfriends, staring at them angrily.

The light rain had worsened in the past few hours as the lightning storms had returned and the torrential downpour had begun again, this time with a strong gust as well.

Jin stood in the commons alone for a few moments before giving up and lying down on the floor. He had been waiting for his student and his two helpers to come for the past half an hour and there were no signs of them or anyone else in the commons. He wondered if he had been pranked, but the thought quickly disappeared as he heard someone skipping towards him. He slowly got up and his jaw dropped to see Grey skipping down the hall, beaming.

"JIN!! JIN!! You won't believe it! Isabel likes me!!" He shouted happily mid skip.

Lightning crashed outside.

"Yo! That's great!" Jin shot up and hugged the guy.

"WAIT WHAT!!!!" It took a little while for Jin to fully understand the implications of what Grey had just said, "AND WHO'S ISABEL!?!?!?"

Grey let go of Jin."Oh? Isabel is captain of the women's swim team, she has brown hair, light brown skin, yay high," Grey put his hand a little below his shoulder, around the same height as Jin, "She's really nice and energetic, super supportive and confident and strong-willed."

Waves of fear, nervousness and uncertainty started hitting Jin. "How do you know she likes you?" Jin asked, very worried about the answer.

"Oh, we have seventh and eighth periods together and we always talk a little bit before I go to football practice, and so I've been using what you've taught me and she honestly and genuinely likes me!" Grey looked really happy.

Jin's eyes widened in horror as he realized what could be happening, the bright flashes continued outside lighting up the commons every few moments.

He let out a shaky breath. "What's your plan?" Jin's face was pale.

"I've told her to come meet me at your usual location tomorrow, but if it continues to rain then I guess we'll have to change it, and I'll ask her out then!" Grey glowed.

"But didn't you say you'd prefer for it to be Chandler..." Jin looked worried.

Grey took a step backwards and started rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah… I still would but that's not going to happen so I'll go for the next best thing!" He said half heartedly.

A shock ran through Jin's body. "Wait, what do you mean it won't happen?" Jin asked.

"There's no way someone as nice as her and as popular as her would like someone like me!" Grey laughed.

"Grey… were you using any of the tips with her when you were talking to her in the parking lot yesterday?" Jin asked slowly, making sure every word was heard clearly.

Grey's eyes widened as he grabbed his head in frustration. "AHH!! I was too nervous I forgot!" He shouted as he realized he had missed his chance.

"Well whatever, Isabel's not a bad person either." Grey said after recovering.

Jin noticed the slight pain in his voice, him rubbing his hands on his knees as if he were trying to rub something off, and most obviously the small expression of sadness that had appeared on his face when he said he forgot.

"Do you have Chandler's number?" Jin asked to which Grey nodded.

Grey then gave Jin Chandler's number and Jin excused himself for a little bit.

"Can you stop with the scam calls alread-"

Jin ran away from Grey and hid behind a pillar. "It's me, JIN! Chandler you have to talk to Grey today like you did yesterday!" Jin shouted in a hushed voice.

"Wait, but I can't, he doesn't come out until like seven and I have practice then." She replied annoyingly.

"It's Five-Thirty now, if he were to come to the parking lot right now would you be able to talk to him?" Jin asked quickly.

"Yeah of course I'd love to!" She replied as if it were an obvious statement.

"Alright, go to the parking lot then!" Jin said as he hung up.

Jin returned to Grey.

"Hey so it looks like something came up and I'm busy, why don't you grab your stuff and go to the parking lot?" Jin told him.

"Um…sure… good luck on whatever it is you have to do!" Grey said awkwardly while turning around.

"Yeah thanks, sorry about this," Jin said, "Hey, if you run into Chandler be sure to use the tips and remember, you're an all-star quarterback, she's definitely going to be more nervous than you alright!"

Jin could see Grey puff up with confidence at the last comment, he gave a fist and nodded before heading off. After he had left sight Jin slumped to the ground, his blood pressure and heartbeat slowed down as he realized what a terrible situation he was caught up in.

(It's good though, now that he's has some amount of confidence he should at least subconsciously understand her body language signals and hopefully come to the realization that Chandler likes him.) Jin thought to himself.

(And that situation with Isabel is something that I'll have to handle so that it doesn't look like Grey was two timing her… man this is such a pain…) He thought to himself as Mohammad and Nate appeared.

"Y-Yo… Where's Grey?" Nate asked nervously.

Jin saw the stiffness in Nate's body. "You don't have to be nervous about acting again today, I sent him off early." Jin replied.

"Early? Why?" Mohammad asked, he too was looking very stern and rigid.

"He has something he needs to take care off." Jin said, leaving out the details.

Lightning crashed overhead as he told the two he was going to go home for the day and slowly made his way out. Jin's head throbbed at the thought of the trouble that awaited him the next day.
