Awakening

Zane, Mitch and Carter ran into the gym and immediately locked the doors behind them. They backed away from the door and sighed out of relief.

Mitch was about to say something when a person was thrown, crashing through and completely destroying the gym door. The three boys immediately went to hide behind one of the bleachers since they couldn't run away because the other doors had been locked. All they could do was hide and continue to watch the fight.

Jason who had been thrown through the door slid a couple of feet on the gym floor only stopping right in the middle of the gym. He got up and knelt on the floor with one knee. He had been thrown around a lot during his fight with the werewolf and got severely hurt many times but most of them had already healed.

Jason had tried to lead the werewolf away from the school into the woods but didn't succeed. Jason was about to stand up when the werewolf walked in but winced in pain and knelt back down on the floor. He raised his top, revealing a large and deep bite mark on his side. He got it when fighting the werewolf. Black bulging veins were starting to spread from the bite.

Jason looked at the werewolf that was slowly walking towards him and couldn't help fear what would happen next if this continued. He had already fought the werewolf pretty well for his first time facing another supernatural.

The werewolf raised its sharp and deadly claws and slashed at Jason. Jason endured the pained and flashed to the side, avoiding the claws of the werewolf.

ROOOOAAAARRRR

The werewolf was about to rushed towards Jason and attack again but was interrupted by a loud and ground shaking roar. Everyone looked in the direction of the broken gym door. Zane, Carter, Mitch and Jason all felt their hearts leap out of their chests when they saw another werewolf that stood over two meters. But unlike the first werewolf that had black fur all over, this one was brown and was slightly bigger. The first werewolf roared back and then charged at the brown one.

Jason heaved a sigh out of relief as he sat on the floor. He could finally rest and let his wounds heal.

The first werewolf got ready to hit the brown one but the brown one was faster. It held the first werewolf by the neck and effortlessly slammed it on the ground with its incredible strength. Visible shocked was eminent on the first werewolf's face. It planted its hairy werewolf feet into the brown werewolf's stomach pushing it off.

The black werewolf tried to get up but the brown one held its hand and whirled it, throwing it into the bleachers. Mitch, Zane and Carter who were watching from the side were scared shitless but they were kinda rooting for the brown werewolf since it hadn't tried to kill them yet.

The fight between the two werewolves went on for a couple more minutes with the black one being beaten and thrown around by the brown werewolf. Seeing that it couldn't win, the black werewolf went into a some kind of berserk mode fueled by its rage. It started attacking like a mindless beast. It was then that it also got some hits in but still the brown werewolf was slightly stronger.

Meanwhile Bryce's body was still lying in front of the school. With his neck broken, he was dead and the gem could bring him back to life. Then suddenly, a soft glow appeared on his chest area and gradually, the gem that had previously merged with him slowly immerge and started float over his body. It had a pale purple hue.

Then cracks that started to appear all over the gem that was the size of a fist. Gradually, the cracks slowly crept all over the gem and soon the gem was covered in cracks. The gem shattered and revealed its true form. The cover of the gem fell to the ground and only a tiny blue glowing orb was left behind, floating above Bryce's body. The orb that was the true form of the gem started glowing much brighter and slowly went back into Bryce's chest, merging with him again.

For a second, nothing seemed to be happening but then arcs of lightning started to appear and disappeared all around Bryce's body. The lightning arcs got bigger as it struck random spots, charring them black.

Bryce's body started to slowly float up in the air and the lightning around him struck much more violently. Bryce's neck that had been broken snapped back together and the teeth marks also disappeared. It was as if nothing had happened to his neck. The dead Bryce suddenly opened his eyes. His eyes were brightly glowing blue showing that he was using the gem's magic.

He landed on the ground but the lightning didn't stop flashing around him, however, they seemed to be controlled now.

Bryce immediately checked his neck and sighed out of relief. He had just experienced death and resurrection. He then looked at the arcs of lightning that were flashing all over him in awe as his eyes still remained glowing. He moved his hand and multiple streaks of lightning shot out his palm and into the sky, scaring Bryce.

He once again stared at the flashes of lightning all over him, awestruck. He remembered the werewolf that was chasing him, Zane, Carter and Mitch. His instincts were telling him that they were still in the school and he could faintly hear the sounds of fighting so he immediately charged back into the school, following the sound.

It was currently really dark with only the moon shinning brightly in the sky. A figure could be seen walking alone through the woods, somewhere in Beaconsdale. The figure seemed to be that of a tall man with a muscular build. This figure was none other than Beaconsdale High's new History substitute teacher, Mr Eugene Parker.

As he was walking, started to hear footsteps following him from far behind. He smiled and just ignored the footsteps and kept walking.

whoosh

A figure flashed behind Eugene with an incredible speed. Then the figure flashed a few meters ahead of him. The figure kept whooshing around. Even though he could only see one figure, Eugene knew there were two more. The flashing figure approached him with the intent of attacking him.

Eugene threw his hand and caught the flashing figure by the neck and smashed him into the ground. The figure was a young man in a hood with his eyes completely black and thin black veins under his eyes. Eugene raised him up by the neck and threw him effortlessly, making him hit and break one of the trees nearby.

Eugene smiled at the man and his eyes started glowing with a red-orange color and thin black veins also appeared under them.

Then suddenly a man-wolf figure covered with dark brown fur rushed towards Eugene out of nowhere but Eugene flashed and appeared behind it instantly and sent a kick towards it. The werewolf was sent flying. Its figure slowly started to change back into that of a naked man as he got up from the ground.

Another werewolf with dark grey fur also tried to attack Eugene but he caught it by the neck and sent a powerful punch into its stomach making it groan in pain. Eugene then threw it away with his amazing strength. The werewolf fell a couple of feet away. This one also changed back into a naked man.

"Next time you try to attack your alpha, make sure you can actually attack", Eugene said with a serious tone.

"Oh cut them some slack", a female voice said.

The figure of a woman immerged from the darkness.

The woman leaned over and kissed Eugene on the mouth. Eugene's eyes returned back to normal.

"Are you done with it with the locator", Eugene asked.

"You haven't seen me all day and that's what you ask first?", the woman asked.

"You know I'm not one to wait for too long, Leta", Eugene said.

Leta Clinton, a beautiful woman with long and curly blonde hair and deep blue eyes.

Leta sighed and replied, "Almost! I'll be done by Friday".

"You better be, 'cause I can't wait anymore.", Eugene said. "We need to get those gems so that the pack can grow stronger. I can't create the ultimate pack if I don't have at least one of those gems".

"Relax. You shouldn't rush magic", Leta said. "And besides, we've already tracked all three gems to that school. All we need, is to finish the locator so we can locate the kids that the gems merged with".

"Don't worry we'll get them soon", Lena said with smile on her face.

The couple looked at the two men that were now putting on their clothes they had taken off before turning into their werewolf forms. Their werewolf forms werewolf forms weren't as big as the ones in the school.
