Turn To You

I closed the door behind me following Xavier into our office. I yelped when I turn around and Xavier face was right in front of mine, almost nose to nose. He has trapped my head in between his hands against the door. My heart beat accelerated as I realised he might be angry having heard my glorious speech,"I am sorry Xavier, it was not my intention to pretend to be your someone special. It is an emergency as you can see."


Xavier whispered as his lips touches mine,"You are my someone special." He kiss me until my lips parted and his tongue went into my mouth. He plunged in, seized and plundered. I become short of breath. An unfamiliar need claimed my senses and I am not able to think anymore. Xavier put his hand behind my head brought our kiss deeper and he stop.


Xavier was breathing heavily resting his forehead against mine. He straightened himself as if nothing happened,"There is another function coming Friday for Emperor Empire project. Hans has the details. Call Alex to prepare something for you and Daniel will be ready as usual."


Why did he stop? I wanted something more, what... I do not know, but I didn't like him to stop. I regain my composure,"Will do Xavier. I am going to check if Linda is fine from the intrusion and head home."


Daniel was waiting for me downstairs to send me home. As far as I remembered he has been there to ferry me to and fro work from day 1. This is not a standard privileged offer to employees of the company. I have never seen anyone driven to work by the company cars except for the department directors while some prefer to drive themself.


The kiss. It makes me feel things. It seems my brain in turning around in 360 degree and refuses to rest. After turning and tossing around, I couldn't stand it any longer and so I clambered out of bed to go downstairs to talk to HuangMin.


I have no idea how or when or why, HuangMin ended up being immobilized with his hands locked behind his back. One moment I was telling him about the happening in the day and my confusion over the entire kiss scenario. Another moment we were going to kiss for me to see what it feels like to clarify my feeling for my boss. Next moment, two men in black charged into the convenience store and immobilised HuangMin on the floor. HuangMin another job as  a personal trainer seems useless when it is against these professional. I screamed at the top of my lungs for help and for them to let go until I noticed both were with ear pieces.


They definitely looks like bodyguards. Yuki has seen bodyguards around Xavier noticeably whenever Xavier is not in the company vicinity. She has also seen them when she and Xavier went to the chinese restaurant last time. A third bodyguard came into the store speaking with someone on the phone. He passed the phone to me,"Yuki."


I took a deep breath. It was Xavier voice on the other end," Yuki, are you okay?"


My voice a bit unsettled,"Yes Xavier, who are these people and why are they here?"


Xavier sound tired,"Yuki, these people are there to protect you. If you are okay, I will asked them to leave. Please rest and we will talk Friday night after the function. Alright?"


He almost sound pleading and I softened,"Alright Xavier, I would like to know what is going on. Promise you are going to tell me please."


Xavier promised. The men in black retreated into the night. HuangMin was startled but not injured. I lost the interest to know until Friday night.


Xavier did not come into the office until Friday.
