Sherin's (Jake's mother) Pov

Tomorrow is my son's marriage fixation ceremony. The day on which Shruti will become our daughter officially. I still remember the day when I saw Shruti for the first time. And the day on which we went to her home with Jake's proposal. From that day onwards Shruti became our daughter just like my other three daughters. Shruti is a smart girl, she is so loving and caring. Jake had told me how she had promised him to take care of us as how she takes care of her parents. She have always seen me and Peter as her own parents. She calls us daily, us means each and every member of this family, she enquires about our daily routines and she have become everyone's favorite. And Jake is so happy. When Jake told me yesterday of surprising Shruti, I was astonished I mean a person who was reluctant to get married some months back is now so excited to give surprises to his fiance. But I am so happy for his caring nature, I am so happy that Jake has started to give a chance to this relation. Also he have already accepted Shruti's family as his own. He too calls them daily. Anna and Joe are so loving couple and they will call almost everyday to enquire about the preparations and also tell to be free to call them at any time for any sort of help. Everyone in our family is eagerly waiting to welcome Shruti to our family officially. Today Shruti, Anu, Jessica and Jenitta are going to try out their costumes which they have given for designing. As Zara, Shruti's sister was not present, it was Anu, Jessica and Jenitta who helped her in picking out her costumes. Jake was accompanying them as Jerom, Donny and Luke was busy with other preparations. All or relatives have already started to arrive, and the house was becoming so noisy. Everyone were helping with on thing or the other and everyone were busy.

Shruti's Pov

Today morning Mamma woke me up early in the morning as I had to go with Jenitta di, Jessica di and Anu to the designer for our costume trial and also to the beauty salon. Alayna, Sona and Riya was soo lazy to accompany me to the designer studio, so they told me that they will directly come to the salon. As I was having my breakfast Jessica di, Jenitta di and Anu came along with Jake. As we were getting late I tried to escape from having the breakfast, Mamma and my sisters were engaged in their conversation, so I took that as a golden opportunity to escape, but God was not at my side. My idiot fiance caught me red handed. So I had to complete my breakfast. After bidding bye to Mamma, we started our journey. We took one and a half our to reach the designer studio. Jake told that he will wait in the car as Jessica di told him that he couldn't see me in my outfit until tomorrow. When Andrea saw us coming inside the studio she welcomed us took our costumes out. Our costumes were so awesome. We all had decided to wear the costumes with lighter shades. Jessica di and Jenitta di decided to wear a designer saree, Anu decided on skirt and top and I decided on wearing lehenga.

We tried out our costumes and Andrea did the necessary fittings, than we thanked her and bid bye. When we reached the car we saw Jake sleeping, he was so tired due to yesterday's drive and today morning too he couldn't have a sleep as he had to take us to shopping. We girls know driving but our parents didn't want any accident to happen before the function and also Jake was so concerned that he accepted to be our chauffer. But I felt guilty after seeing him soo tired. I woke him up and offered to drive the car but he declined saying he is fine. Then we went to salon, Alayna had called me earlier telling that they had arrived at the salon and had started with necessary facial and those things. By the time we reached the salon my girls had done with the haircut and eyebrows and were doing their manicure and pedicure, so we too decided to get it done and Jake told us that he would be waiting in the waiting room. After an hour I was done with my hair, eyebrows, pedicure and manicure. As I was not interested in doing facial, I thought of going and getting the blouse of Mamma and Mummy which they had given for stitching. I informed everyone about it and Jenitta di told me to take Jake with me.

Already Jake was so tired so I decided not to bother him, but I have to tell him about my departure or else he will kill me. So I went to the waiting room and there too he was sitting on the chair and sleeping, I called him and told, "Jake I am done here so I thought of going and getting Mamma's and Mummy's blouse from the stitching shop and also I want to buy some things, so I'll just go and come, just call me when they are done. " And I turned to go, but was stopped when Jake held my wrists and told, "Wait I'll just tell di and will accompany you. You don't have to go alone." and he went. So I had to wait for him. After informing di about the same he came and then we went for the shopping. First we both went to get the blouse and then we went to buy me heels. Throughout the journey no one spoke. I was feeling guilty for dragging Jake when he was feeling tired so I didn't have a mood to talk, I just wanted to end this shopping and to let him take rest at home. Jake tried to talk but then guessing my mood he just left the conversation.

After one hour we got a call from Jessica di telling that they were done at the salon. So we went to pick them up and they were feeling so hungry so Anu suggested to have lunch at some restaurant. So Jake stopped at some restaurant and we had our lunch. Then Jake dropped me and my friends to my home and left. After showing Mamma, Pappa and Ed my dress I went to take a shower. After spending a half an hour in the shower, I got dressed up in my pyjamas. When I went to the dinning room I saw Ed and my friends watching a movie so I too joined them for a little time and then I went to help Mamma with the dinner preparations. Pappa had some work so he had gone out to see someone. So we waited for his arrival so we all can sit together and have our dinner. Zara di had video called me to see my attire, so after showing Zara di and Sid bhai my attire and also after having some chat with them I went down. Mamma was calling Mummy to know about the preparation. Marriage fixing ceremony is held by the groom's family so they all were busy. Ed, Pappa and Mamma too had gone in the afternoon to help them with the preparations.

Jake haven't called me till now. It was Anu who informed me that they had reached home. I had messaged Jake telling to take rest but still I didn't get any reply. So I was feeling little sad. May be he too was sad I mean he had tried to talk to me but as I was feeling guilty for disturbing him I didn't talk to him, so may be he was feeling sad or angry. So I decided to call him. I called him thrice but he didn't pick up my call. So I told Mamma that I was feeling sleepy and went to sleep without having my dinner and not before switching off my mobile.
