Here it is, the competition day. I fixed myself in front of the bathroom's mirror in our school. I stared at myself for a couple of minutes, trying to remove my nervousness. My heart is beating so loud and my breathes are heavy. I washed my face as I washed away my thoughts. I wore my eye mask and went back to our classroom. We gathered in the middle of our room and prayed for today.

"Fighting!" We all shouted. We walked side by side to the stadium and sat in our designated seats. It was filled with Senior High School students cheering for their class' team. My hands are sweating already though the program hasn't started yet. I lowered my head and prayed hard. I don't want to make mistakes and fail the whole class though as much as possible I want to enjoy this performance. We practiced hard for this, we must at least execute it well.

"You can do it!" I felt a warm hand on my own. I looked up and saw Vin. I smiled at her and nodded. "I'm rooting for you, Yuri!" She said and smiled widely, showing her cute dimples. I thanked her and she sat not far from me. After a couple of minutes, the program started. It's the third day of our Intramurals. We saw so many class' performance and holy cow, it's making me more nervous. They're all so good. When the 25th class started their performance, we were asked to prepare because we're next. I prayed again silently and brought my props with me. Our performance will last for about 13 minutes like what is said in the criteria. I hope I won't miss nor forget any step. The current class will finish their performance in no more than 5 minutes so our class president called us to gather.

"Let's go, team! Fighting!"

We are gonna perform in less than a minute. We climbed up the stage fast and settled our props. After setting it up, we positioned ourselves into our starting place. I'm in the middle-front and I'm nervous as hell. The music played and I was the first one to move. I let my body remember the steps and moved with the rhythm of the song. We began to breathe heavily because of tiredness after almost seven minutes. We stood there like a statue as the music fake stopped and here comes one of the best part. We ripped our outer clothing which revealed the real costume. The audience shouted madly because of it. I smirked and continued dancing. We are near the ending so we threw our masks up, some more steps then we went to our ending pose. Like how we started, I'm in the middle-front again. I was smirking and the crowd started to shout and cheer again. We bowed and brought our props back again as we moved out of the stage.

We shouted and celebrated outside the stadium as we exited through the stairs that leads us outside. We praised each other and thanked God for doing well.

"Oh God! Yuri brought the biggest impact on our dance." Den said.

"Nah, all of us brought a very large impact to the crowd." I commented.

"Thanks for your hard work, everyone! Fighting!" We shouted all at once. We went back inside and watched other class' performance. I'm amazed by how each and everyone of us create such great impact that made the audience cheer. After the last class' performance, they awarded some minor awards.

"The 1st Audience Impact Award goes to..." The MC cut making all of us thrilled. "Yuri Choi!" My eyes widen with what the MC said, I didn't even know that there's an award for that. My classmates cheered for me as I walk at the stage. I received a medal, a trophy, a certificate and a paper bag which contains some kind of gift, I think. I smiled for the documentary photo and walked back down the stage. My classmates shouted my name that made me shook my head in amusement. We all sat there and waited for their announcement of the champion.

"And the Champion of Class Performance goes to!" I was staring at the stage intently when my classmates started to jump. I was kind of clueless for a bit until I realized that our class won. We ran to the stage and accepted the medals, trophy, certificate and cash prize. We proceeded into photoshoot right after the documentary photo was taken.

We took photos with the trophy, with the whole class, with our friends and individually. After our mini-photoshoot, we went to our classroom and prepared our things. We will have a class dinner! It was a quarter past seven when we left the school to eat at the resto. We took photos there after and before eating. We bid each other goodbye at exactly a quarter before ten in the evening. I texted my driver to pick me up and after ten minutes he came. Our ride was peaceful making me smile with what I achieved. I wore my medals, held the trophy, certificate and the gift before entering our house. I must inform my parents about this. I smiled at the thought.

"Mom! Dad!" I shouted and my parents showed up. "Look what I got!" I showed it to them and they congratulated me. We took family photos and they took a photo of me too.

"You're still in your costume. Go change now and take a rest, okay? Mom and Dad is proud of you always." I smiled with what my parents said. I hugged them tight before heading upstairs. I hanged the medals in my wall along with the others and placed my trophy in the table with the others also. I opened my drawer and putted the certificate inside. I washed myself and wore some comfy clothes. I saw my phone lit and bunch of notifications came. I opened my SNS account and saw our family pic on my parents' SNS account. Even in my classmates accounts. I received the photos through e-mail and thanked my classmate. I printed it out immediately and pinned it on my cork board placed at the wall. Out of all notifications, a message stood out.

'Vin Shin sent you a message'

I opened her message which contained congratulatory words. I thanked her and pressed the video call button. She answered it quick and smiled at the camera. She said she's sorry because she didn't congratulate me personally but I said it's fine. We talked for hours, I thanked her for giving me water and energy drinks while practicing. I also thanked her for wiping my sweat and rescuing me every time I collapse. I also thanked her for asking me out. She became shy when I thanked her for it. I saw tint of red on her cheeks. I just laughed at her and called her 'cute' afterwards which made her blush even more. I smiled at her and she even asked me out again. I said yes and she looked like a kid, smiling proudly. I chuckled with her cute antics. We talked for another hour before we both fell asleep while doing the video call.
