Blueth Mendoza's POV
"You know kid? Now that I think about it, there is one plan that I follow."
"Huh?" I looked at Ms. Val who was standing in front of the door.
"The plan is to have fun in my life. But there are limitations though, but the plan is to have fun."
I smiled as I looked at Ms. Val, placing back the vial inside my pockets. "Okay Ms. Unknown, let's take that Mistake down unknown style."
"Okay, what do we know about that Mistake?" Ms. Val asked as we looked down at the Mistake. Ms. Val and I were up on a tree, since we want to do a surprise attack on it, our best bet was to climb the trees so we can hide. Thankfully, the trees were not like the houses. The trees were normal-sized.
"Well, it's big. Little legs, big torso, and its eyes are located on its chest."
Ms. Val had this smile plastered on her face as she was looking at the Mistake. "You thinking what I'm thinking Blueth?"
"What are you thinking?"
Ms. Val smiled at me as she took out a rope from her coat. I looked at Ms. Val as I asked her how long she's been carrying that rope.
"I had this rope with me ever since. What? You never know when you're going to need a rope to tie things." Ms. Val then started tying the rope to one of the branches of the tree. Tying it securely and tightly. "There, now, here's what we're going to do. I'll swing from this rope here, aiming for the back of the Mistake. And when I get close, I'll kick it really hard. And when it falls to the ground, you come in and touch the Mistake with the vial. Got it?"
"I don't know, that sounds like a plan." I said as I smile at Ms. Val.
"It's only a plan when you think that it's a plan. Now, get ready to jump in and touch the Mistake with that vial."
"Wait, I just need to touch it with this?"
"Yup, we only need to let the Mistake get touched by that vial."
I looked at Ms. Val as something made me come to realization. "Wait, if that's what we needed to do, why didn't we just throw it at the Mistake in the first place!?"
"That's not possible kiddo, I tried that before and the vial just got deflected. The Mistakes need to fall to the ground before we can throw the vial. Now, get ready."
I gave Ms. Val a nod as I climbed down the tree we were in and went into position, quietly sneaking past the Mistake.
Not long and Ms. Val came swinging in, kicking the Mistake at the back. And it worked, the Mistake lost balance and fell to the ground. I quickly ran towards it and threw the vial at the Mistake, and just like that, the Mistake got sucked into the vial.
"Nice throwing kiddo!" Ms. Val said as she came down from the rope. "The door which will take us home shall appear any moment now." And without a minute passing by, the door magically appeared behind us. "See? What did I tell you? Now come on, let's go home. Let's get away from this lovey icky place."
I was about to follow Ms. Val in entering the door, but I saw something which caught my eye. I gasp as I saw it. I quickly called Ms. Val who was about to enter the door. "Ms. Val! Look!" I screamed as I pointed at the character who was down on one knee, proposing to another character.
"Urgh. Love, it makes me sick. Come on Blueth, so that vial can be turned into a piece of paper with the mistakes of the book." Ms. Val said as she entered the door.
I was screaming and cheering for the happy couple who are now engaged. "I'm proud of you little fella! Happy wedding to the both of you! Byeeee!" I then followed Ms. Val and entered through the door.
As I entered, a bright light surrounded me and I feel the vial in my hand becoming light and thin. So, this is what Ms. Val meant when she said that the vial filled with the Mistake gets turned into a piece of paper with the mistakes of the book written on it.
It took a while before the bright light surrounding me started fading. As the light began fading, I began seeing a familiar sight, I began seeing the interior of the house.
What felt like minutes passed by and the light finally faded completely. Something doesn't feel right though, something feels heavy.
I looked at the piece of paper and I was surprised. It wasn't just a piece of paper, it was many pieces of paper. It was a whole stack of bond paper to be precise.
"Huh, I guess that explains why that Mistake in the book was so huge. Whoever is the author of that book needs to burn the book completely and start from scratch." Ms. Val said as she stared at me.
"Did the two of you had fun inside the book?" Cathy said as she stretched her body.
"Oh yeah, we had fun. Right Blueth?"
"Help me with these! These are heavy!" I yelled at Ms. Val who was just standing around.
"Oh right, sorry about that. Let me get those for you." Ms. Val then reached out and took the big stack of paper I was holding. "I thought you read that book Blueth?"
"I did."
"Then how come the mistakes on it are this much?" Ms. Val said as she placed the stack of paper on top of the table. "Weren't you paying attention to the mistakes while reading it?"
I got down from the table as I started massaging my shoulder, that stack of paper was so heavy that it made my shoulder hurt, maybe my entire arm. "Well, like I said Ms. Val. Since you told me that we will proofread the book by going inside them, I didn't pay attention to the mistakes on in.
"Well, fair enough. Take some rest now kid. That's not the only book that we'll proofread today. I hope you learned something."
I smiled as I sat down on the couch next to Cathy. "I sure did, and that is to not have a plan and just go with the flow."
"That's my girl." Ms. Val said as she ruffled my hair.
