The Casalyians are a noble race, maintaining the isolation their mechanical city in the sky affords them. Their abilities and wisdom exceed those of the humans.

But sixteen-year-old Creed Angelus has applied to the Council of for permission to visit with the Humans. His goal is clear and attainable, study the humans to see if his race could live with them.

But some stand in his way. The very same council members who permitted him are now targeting him. Finding offense in his unlikely heritage, they will pursue any avenue to destroy Creed.

His half-brother, Vincent, remains loyal and protective of his younger brother while pursuing his mission, the mysterious disappearance of his young wife.

Falling Darkness follows the quests of Creed and Vincent, their conflicts in Casalynn, bonding encounters with the humans, and subsequent battles with the Nards, sub-monsters dwelling underground.

The Falling Darkness Series

Terrence and Ashley flew high, then dived down landing on a grassy area at the edge of a dense forest. Suddenly the other Casalyians, who held the humans, landed beside them. 


Crystal and the Nards, who slid down the gorge, left behind a trail of dust, rock, and dirt. They glanced around looking for the others. 


The wolves detached from Crystal 's body and rushed forward, disappearing into the forest. Crystal and the Nards followed leisurely behind them until they reached everyone else. 


The humans rotated their arms trying to regain feeling. Their faces revealed the experience was not appreciated. The humans spotted two large gray flat rocks before them. Terrence followed their gaze and immediately claimed one. 


The two Humans sat on the other one, both barely fitting on the surface. 


Crystal, upon reaching them, used her hand as a visor to peer into the dense forest. Spotting nothing of interest, she turned back to the group.
