Rebirth of A heartless empress

     Archie tumbled their way and Luscious caught him, " Nice to see your having fun ". Archie nodded, " Yeah, I can even fly too ". Luscious rolled his eyes playfully, " I can fly too ". 


    Archie smirked, his tone slightly smug " Never as a human though ". Luscious laughed, letting him go " What did you come over for again "? He suddenly stopped spinning and looked at Axis.  


    " I came to ask father for a younger sister ". Axis and Luscious looked at each other and Archie went on, slightly disappointed " I could manage a younger brother though. I'm not picky ". 


     Luscious cleared his throat, " Why do you want a sister or brother all of a sudden "? He pointed at the kids who were playing with each other, " Sister Qidu helped me make friends but I obviously can't take them back to Verflog ". 


      " And then Uncle Lu goes back to Nisrag and everything will be boring again. I just want someone to play with ". Axis scratched his head as he looked at Nectar, " So she's putting ideas in your head "? Archie nodded, " Yeah, so can I have one "? 


      Axis looked at the boy and coughed lightly, " I'll talk it over with your mother ". Archie spread his limbs out wide and went in a circle, " That's amazing. I should go tell Sister Qidu the good news ". Luscious smiled mischievously as he looked at Axis, " So does that mean I get another godchild "? 


       Nectar was glad the room was coming together. Everything had to be perfect and if it couldn't, it'd be almost close to it. There were a few ornaments and fancy things in here but she cared none for the decor.


    In fact, she hated her decision to take this suite. And now she was trying so hard to change it, she felt even more miserable for stressing out the servants even more. Liam called out to her from the terrace and she walked outside.


     " What, your power trip's over "? Nectar sighed as she ran her hand through her let down hair, " I'm sorry. I let my memories get the best of me ". He smiled as he knocked her forehead lightly, " Too bad I can't change your memories then ". 


     Nectar laughed, rubbing her head " I think I'm glad. If I forget, I'll end up making the same mistakes again ". Liam nodded, " I hate it when you act your age, makes me remember you're not the child you pretend to be ".


    She smiled innocently, " You know me so well Millie but acting carefree is new to me ". He sighed as he faced the view of the sky from the terrace, " I finally get why you didn't want to come here. This place gives me chills for some reason ". 


    Nectar shrugged, holding the rail and immediately backed away, " It's a lot more high up than I remember ". She walked back to it and looked down, " I don't think any of them have a fear of heights though ". 


     Liam watched her ramble on to herself as she talked about the plan she had for the kids. He smiled and nodded [ I like the sound of your voice, it's oddly relaxing ] " You're enjoying this, aren't you "? 


    Nectar nodded, slightly solemn as she looked ahead at the varying colors of orange in the sky, " While it lasts, yes. We both know this is the calm before the storm ". Liam nodded, " Yeah ".


     Nectar suddenly smiled, leaning forward " Enough about that, why did you call me out "? Liam smiled as he held out his hand, " I think I came up with something you'll really like ".


    He suddenly snapped his fingers and a big gust of wind blew past them. Nectar spat her hair out of her mouth, " You're giving me a new hairstyle or something "? He laughed lightly and shook his head, " The terrace has been baby proofed ". 


    Nectar raised an eyebrow as she held her hands high over the railing and it instantly pushed her back. Liam caught her in time and she blew her hair out of her face and laughed, " Awesome, I knew I could count on you ".
